dwayneb236 Posted December 7, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2021 I usually never ask questions here but oh well. We're heading out Sunday on the Liberty in a 2 bedroom suite. Everything I've read says you can only bring a single12 pack of soda per stateroom. I'm guessing our 2 bedroom is considered one stateroom technically. Anyone experienced bringing 2 12 packs since we are 2 couples. We'll probably give it a shot anyway. What's the worst that could happen. They take a 12 pack from us. HicksRA Posted December 7, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2021 I’d give it a shot.
dwayneb236 Posted December 7, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted December 7, 2021 To be honest now that I think about it, the cans would be in separate bags that the x-ray people really have no idea what room they are going to.
AustinCruise Posted December 7, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) It’s a single stateroom, technically not allowed. However, You will probably get away with it without issue. Edited December 7, 2021 by AustinCruise
foxgoodrich Posted December 7, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2021 If each couple goes through a different security line, there should be no problem.
cynt Posted December 7, 2021 #6 Share Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) Your on the Liberty and they have a suite lounge. You can drink all the soda you want unless there's a particular brand and flavor you like. If you're from TX it might be Dr Pepper. I get it, if it is. I'm a Dr Pepper drinker too. And Mr Pibb IS NOT Dr Pepper 😒 😑! Edited December 7, 2021 by cynt
sailor05 Posted December 7, 2021 #7 Share Posted December 7, 2021 We've never had an issue with each of us bringing on a 12 pack. We can't stand fountain soda.

Rare BennyBrun Posted December 7, 2021 #11 Share Posted December 7, 2021 I doubt they would care about soda unless you got my security checker who claims that she never saw a French press before in her life and thought it was banned. A non electric no cord French press was holding up the security line. 1
AustinCruise Posted December 7, 2021 #12 Share Posted December 7, 2021 They had 1 L bottled Dr Pepper that they were pouring from at some of the bars.

Surely you can drink another brand of soda.

This is why I don't usually ask questions here. Have a good one.

I’d just have the two families check in separately and no one will know or care.
queenL Posted December 7, 2021 #17 Share Posted December 7, 2021 Does that only apply for soda? Simply Lemonade addict here! 🙂
MontanaMaryT Posted December 8, 2021 #18 Share Posted December 8, 2021 We have checked a case of bottled water with our luggage in the past, it it still an ok thing to do?
TBone2K Posted December 8, 2021 #19 Share Posted December 8, 2021 The 12 cans of soda per room really depends on the person in the security line. The exception does not disprove the rule though, so like you said might as well try. Very rarely do they check from person to person to see which room you are in though, so much like the two bottles of wine limit, it does work most of the time since they usually only check per person and not per room.
