Wristband on RCI?

Does RCI  still use wristbands on their ships to identify those that are vaccinated?

Are there areas on the ship that are only for those that are vaccinated?

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately they do. They switched to the cloth ones in September/October. I prefer the latex ones that don't get tight.

Can you explain the color codes?
I would think they changed because anyone can swap out the latex ones

Yes there are areas that are only for vaccinated.  Examples on Explorer include Schjoner Bar, Casino, Solarium, Diamond Lounge.  There are others.

The color changes on each sailing you don't know the color for the next sailing until you board and see what is issued to you. The B2B cruisers have them issued when they get they meet in the lounge that morning between 9-9:30.

My experience, it is put on by staff at check-in.

Our expeienc...they were handed to us and put them on ourselves. And on b2b's, the new bands were inside the envelopes with our new seapass cards...all handed to us.

We just had them put them on a little looser.  No issues at all.  Tight enough they did not fall off, but loose so you don't feel like they are tight either.

On Anthem now…started off with the paper bands at the port, then given the cloth bands on day 2 (left in our room). I was stupid enough to put it on my dominant arm, so that the tail always got in my way. Finally went down to guest services to see if they could give me a replacement to put on my left arm instead, and was given a latex one instead 😊

That's a new style for me. When we were on the Ovation in September, the latex bnd was like a bracelet, just slipped on and easy to take off.

That is the type of band we had on Serenade a few weeks ago. So thankful it wasn't the cloth bands with that little "tail" that people complain about falling into their food.
