Welcome back promo

Has anyone been successful in getting the welcome back promo applied to their cruises?  Somebody reported recently that they were using it again but the rep at Holland America didn't know anything about it.  (Why does that not surprise me?)  It used to be promo ZPM and was for shipboard credit for booking a new cruise within 60 days of returning from a cruise.  Any ideas?

Code is now VPM.  Have your rep try that.

Booked  & still on board …. Obviously not yet received ‘welcome back offer’ …. Will it be applicable to my onboard booking when I do get it ??

In November, the OBS for booking onboard was far greater than waiting for the welcome back OBC offer.

I booked a $35k cruise while on board. When I got the Welcome Home offer I was told I couldn't "double dip" even though their handout states any cruise booked on board can be combined with all future offers.

Traditionally, the "booking on board" promotion and the "welcome back" promotion have been identical, and therefore considered double dipping.  The best scenario is just purchasing a "future cruise deposit" while onboard which comes with a certain amount of OBC when a cruise is booked and booking that cruise once back home to benefit from the "welcome back" bonus.  It has always worked for us.

I just got off the phone with HAL.  The rep said the Mariner Society credit was only applicable to Have It All fares.  I am booked with 2 verandah staterooms sailing in May, no Have it All for us.  She also said that since I used an online TA for this booking, the TA would have to apply any promos.  I was also unable to add Platinum coverage on the HAL site or by calling them.  Again, she said I had to reach out to the TA.

I would try again as this does not make sense.  The only way I can see them denying it is IF you were on a casino offer or something similar.  The Have it All fare is not the issue IMO.

Mariner Society credit

Isn't the Mariner Credit only available for the first 90days after a new cruise is published?

And the Welcome Back credit is for booking within 60 days of a previous cruise?

The Welcome Back credit must not always have a 60 day limit from cruise return.  We just received our offer (from returning on Dec 22nd) and it has a Mar 15 expiration date.  That was more of a 60 days from offer time window than from cruise return.

It has been (and was on mine) 60 days from the email sent to you.

I talked to the Future Cruise Consultant about using this promotion while onboard in August, but it was only valid with an FCD. The promo benefit was not much more valuable than using the FCD alone.
