I absolutely agree.  I am not a smoker, but my friends who are would never do something like this.  It takes a special sense of entitlement, and quite frankly a lazy person, to not just walk to a smoking area.

Balcony smoking has been a common occurrence on every cruise I have been on. I wish they would do more to curb it.

They should install a smoke detector hooked up to a sprinkler on every balcony.  Problem solved!😁

I vote for $1000 room cleaning charge and everyone in the stateroom booted off at next port with no refund.  People who do stuff like this are probably the same ones who hog pool chairs.

On my last cruise in November the balcony next to us smoked weed multiple times a day. They also played excessively loud DJ music. One day when coming back to our cabin, security was speaking to the guys. It must of been a gentle talking to because they were at it the next day. I guess they pick and choose who to be strict with.
