We just fit under the Bridge 😳

You went right by where we used  lived, Exit 4  NJ Tpke  Ramblewood/Medford   area. We sailed from Cape Liberty, many, many times.

I’ll be boarding Anthem next Sunday. I’ll let you know if we experience similar lines.

if your time is later they are making you get out of line. Listen for the loudspeaker calling the times. There are benches around the corner to sit and wait if needed.

Can I ask what time your check in was and what time this picture was taken?  I am going in a couple of weeks and I have 11am check in and am in a Junior suite. I hope we don’t have to wait on such long lines. My husband can’t stand for long. We have requested wheelchair assistance but On our last cruise we couldn’t get help until after we checked in. 
I am really looking foward to following along on your trip. Enjoy!

Lines moved well enough. Definitely waited longer at airports recently.

Am jealous you are just starting your cruise. We just got off today. 😉

Anthem is amazing. Interesting with the lines and how they backed up. We had an early check in and just walked in.

Our checkin time was 1pm. We arrived at 12:15 to the parking lot. Waited about 45 mins outside then in the terminal about 45 mins to get through security and checkin.  We have spoke to others who arrived for an 11 am checkin and they said they breezed in with a total of 20 mins from curb to boarding.

 

1 pm is primE checkin so lots more people. You should be good at 11am.

In our 40 years of cruising we have enjoyed all of the changes over the years. We think most of the changes are for the better tho. We really enjoyed the Quantum over the Anthem. We loved the Butterfly walkway on the way to 270 lounge.

Appetizer was Maryland Crab Cake .. 3.5 Forks

Main Course was a Fried Seafood Plate (Scallops, Shrimp, and a White Fish). 
 

3.75 out of 5 Forks Lightly battered and Fried it was good

Ivwas onboard in January and boarded today..   You will be good with 11 am check in.    Don't stand in line, go to front door and let them know about wheelchair assistance and they will let you right in, send you to head of line for security then go to your left where bright green or yellow chairs are located.   A person will check you in while seated.  Wheelchairs for boarding are right there too.    I have witnessed many people doing this.   The suite check in is right there too.

we had 11 o’clock check in. No lines at all. Dropped off luggage, parked car, breezed through security and check in. Total time from luggage drop to ship was about 15 minutes.

Good morning Cruise Critic’s, welcome to day 2 of Semi-live from Anthem of the Seas.  
 

After Led zepagain last night we tried our luck in the Casino, where Mrs. Seadog67 made out very well to the point our next cruise is paid for 😀so good job Mrs. S.  We then crashed for the night and we’re up about 4:15 this morning after a nice 5 hour power sleep. Can’t waste cruise hours 😉

 

Took a morning stroll for early coffee..

Regular and Decafe available along with what appears to be Apple and Orange juice, with half and half and milk available..

 

 

 

This will do to start the day until the specialty Coffee Bar opens and we can use our Coffee Card, which provides 15 specialty coffees for the week.

Sitting ok the Esplanade and enjoying the quite before the impending sea day madness ensues….

 

Will check back a bit later with a schedule for today. I hope everyone has a calm and easy Monday!

Time to rise and shine Critics…

 

 

Enjoying the sunrise as we wait for breakfast options to open.. Cafe 270 we are going to try.. 

 

Still somewhat cool and about 52 degrees so far heading to about 60 today.  Cooler with the breeze..
