One restaurant we probably will not try given Mrs. S is not adventurous with her palate is …

Which has a funky take on many dishes…

If you have tried Wonderland feel free to post your experiences with the food..

While some of the "nest stuff" is a bit dry, the short ribs we've had on 4 different dinings at Wonderland on various ships have been outstanding.  And I like the smoky old fashion and the chocolate lovers delight (World) .   Do give it a try on the Symphony.  And don't miss out on Hooked!!!

Thanks for sharing.

Have a safe trip home to the doggies.

I am with Mrs. S regarding Wonderland. The food is too far out for my palate.

Did you happen to see a bar in Wonderland? I read somewhere that someone had a drink at the bar that had cotton candy in in....my major weakness. It could have been on a different ship, though.

I can't believe your cruise is almost over. It seems like only yesterday we were waving goodbye to the Anthem as you sailed out of Cape Liberty. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves. And, once again, thanks for taking us along!

we do not know what the issue is and hope no one is injured but the way he presented the news we really thought the ship had major issue.

10 of the cast is out for various reasons - next week's show is still in doubt.

The Gift will restart in about 2 weeks with the new cast while the old cast still puts on WWRY.

The riggers to allow the aerialist portion in Spectra are being hired but may take several more months for them to trickle into Anthem.

Awesome @crewsweeper ! Thanks for the impressions and well wishes for our trip home!

Spent the past two hours ease dropping on the art auction in Boleros… then donating a few more dollars to the casino college fund. 😩

Just stepped out on the promenade… while not cold by winter standards we are use to…who am I kidding… it’s cold 🥶 out there!!

Thanks for the info @Biker19! Guessing we can assume the issue, if 10 of them are down.. hoping it is nothing serious and they recover quickly.

I will add with the restart picking up steam these things were expected at least by us and we are happy with this cruise and how it has been pulled off.

I did not see a bar in the restaurant directly but mist likely the specialty drinks are made in the kitchen. We watched a show on the tv in our cabin where they showed them making some of the dishes which looked out there.

The week definitely goes by quickly for sure.. glad you were along for the ride…

😁  It's only light in pictures, once you try and pick one of those suitcase up I will need a hernia doctor on speed dial.  But you are correct we are practicing for a cruise in May when we need to fly to Florida to cruise with family and are trying to change our ways and not pay overweight baggage fees then. Those bags are each 54 pounds now, we need to lose 4 pound in packing by May....😆

I am a big fan of booking a laundry package prior to departure. That way I can send clothes out ass often as I want and can pack less. On HAL it $77 for 11 nights in December.

The bar for Wonderland on other ships is a deck above the restaurant. If you want a quiet bar for a nightcap, it's a good spot on the Symphony.

Oh no.  Did you manage to see We Will Rock You?  It's such a great performance.

Curious...was Joff (the CD) present during your cruise?  Or only on announcements?  The reason I'm asking is I was on the cruise prior to you.  Mid way during the cruise when he was introducing one of the shows he commented on a scratchy voice.  Then he no longer introduced shows going forward and the activity manager did in his place.  Someone on our FB page said he tested positive but not sure how they knew or if this was true.

I was on the previous cruise.  Last Saturday at the Captain's Corner, the captain stated that two people had tested positive for Covid on the ship.  One was a passenger and the other was the missing Cruise Director, Joff.

This sailing I heard of one unvaccinated child that tested positive as they called parents to notify their child was exposed to this child in the babysitting area.

Not sure if that’s true! What age are people who get this supposed to be?? 😂

😆 Let’s just say there may be more miles driven on our tires already that miles left on them 😩

Thanks once again, Seadog67, I'm thoroughly enjoying your posts. 30 more days for us.

If you happen to go past the Jameson's liquor again, could you please let me know what size bottles they are. That's Hubby's choice of poison. We typically don't buy any liquor on board any longer because it's a pain to carry back and we can typically get it on sale for around the same price!

Glad to hear Jamie's is good as we're planning on having lunch or dinner there at least once. I want to try the lasagne!

Thanks again.

Thanks for confirming.  That's the same cruise I was on.  2 cases overall is pretty good...except who knows who it spread to in the crew if it was the CD.

OP, thanks for taking us along.  Wonderful cruise.  Enjoy your last night.  It's amazing how quick a week can go.

The info was passed during the entertainment tour - the manager said it was a combination of issues, including some compassionate leave. If they can’t recover enough of the cast, they will either borrow some from the new cast (already on board) or wait and hand over the show to the new cast.

Well after a quick snack from Windjammer for dinner as we were not all that Hungry, we visited with our room steward and gave him an additional tip as his service was excellent this week.

Had one last Cafe Mocha from La Patisserie then walked the Esplande one last time and from deck 5.

Then returned to the room to pack up and catch one last awesome sunset…

I will report tomorrow on the disembarkation process probably after arriving home and getting settled.

Thanks all for following and commenting all week!

I know I keep saying it, but thanks so much for letting us all join you on the cruise.

And an extra thank you for the Jameson's information. I have a feeling we'll have to leave some extra room in our luggage for that price!

Safe travels home, and I hope we get to sail together some day!

Thanks for posting the photos of the booze, I never remember to write down what it would cost at home.  A couple of comparisons to totalwine in Cherry Hill (per their website):

Woodford Reserve 750 ml $34 (TW) vs ship 1liter 2/$60 (I think it says $34.99 for one)

Tanqueray 1l $33 (TW) vs ship 1l 2/$50  (guessing $30 for one)

Kentucky Owl Confiscated 750ml $130 (TW) vs ship $100 (looks like same size)

But on some of the other stuff like grey goose, it didn't look like a particularly special deal.

Cherry Hill TW...sounds like we're neighbors...TW is in my rotation😁

Good morning Cruise Critics.. welcome to Disembarkation Day… were on our last hour or so on Anthem. Anticipating a 7 am debark time for tag 53.

One note coffee at Cafe Promenade does not open this morning until 6 am as does the windjammer. We tried about 5 am and were skunked.

Just passed under the bridge and will be heading up to the windjammer shortly for coffee and our last breakfast 🥞
