It is a manually awarded badge - as there is no easy way to automate finding a live from review!  We are awarding it as we find and promote the Live reports to our LIVE reports page: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/ourpicks/    

 

Members are welcome to email us OR tag us in their LIVE FROM if we have not come about it on our own, so that we may add it to the page and award the badge.

 

This is something new, and unfortunately no way to automate to go back in time to award.  I am working to award many of the more recent.

Does it mean that you did a live report from one of your cruises (ship icon) and it was considered "rare"?  Or is it the way you prefer your steak?😀

I'm thinking a "rare" live report is from a ship that is not commonly reported from. Would that be the correct interpretation?

The rare label means that this badge has less than 10% of members who received.

We can award this badge for each one - so you will see multiple on the profile of someone who has been awarded multiple - will always take suggestions into consideration as well 🙂
