I highly recommend the gazpacho from the Vegan menu… it is worth a try… the vegan option sometimes surprises you in a good way!

 

The crunchy tofu taco … not so much … it is not a taco BUT the tofu and the sauce is amazing…. instead of being fancy and fry the tortilla  taco shell into a cup shape, they should just use soft shell tacos then wow!

I was surprised what a zoo the Solarium main “pool” was. We walked in, walked by and walked out. It sounded like a Carnival fun ship —- crowded and very loud .

Wow!  The pool deck does seem very crowded, and the solarium too. Guess I should be glad I was able to experience the Oasis this past September when they were still counting how many people were allowed in the pool at any one time and loungers were social distanced.  Back to normal now.

Two options came up for my dates and the substantially cheaper one was EWR Extended Stay America.  5.00 a day, plus tax and 5.00 booking fee.  12 days came to 69.20.

Wow, this is great - 7 night parking is a total of $42.45 vs $175 at cruise terminal.     

Uber is probably $10 plus tip each way.  Save a little over $100 per week.     I will definitely use this for our future cruises, especially since we like to do b2b's and the 11 or 12 nighters out of Bayonne.    Thank you!

In December, the Tom Hardy store next door was closed and only open by appointment.  Hopefully, they are not doing the same with Tiffany.

Walking deck 5 … I did not get far because they are using deck 5 as the gangway and there is an issue with the platform and they stopped letting people on and trying to fix it.

Still working on the show around 7PM… it takes a lot of time for them to be ready to learn the routine and be performance ready.  I feel bad for those that reserved the aqua theater suite … at least they have a great view of the practice!
