Benny, how hard is it to get to the 2,500 Tier Credits to reach Prime?

That is such a difficult and painful question to answer because it all depends on luck.  Some will say easy some will say it’s very hard some can earn all the way up to Masters (100,000 points) every cycle. 
 

its $5.00 to a point on slots, $10.00 to a point on video poker and $10.00 a hand at the table for one hour will get you 10 points.  Yes you win some but in the long run you will lose more than you put in unless you are lucky to hit a few jackpots along the way.  My advice is play because you want to play and you have that disposable income to play.  You can afford to lose the money and not even blink.   Don’t play for the rewards it’s not worth it.  The house don’t keep the lights on for losing money!!

I think the supply chain issue struck again… the store does not have a lot of merchandise… I remember they used to have a ton of cologne and perfume to spray and spritz… now it feels like a beauty clearance store… they even sell collagen powder… I am so confused!  Lots of empty shelves

They switched the stage around at Blaze… I think it creates more seats …  we used to face that round circle stage across from the bar.  They were funny but not hilarious… the audience was lukewarm…the Paul Ogata was funnier

my personal view is that the three main stream players all have strength and weakness…my personal preference is Royal Caribbean because it is more well rounded and you can find value with what they offer.  Is it the best … nope … are there issues ? Yeap … but it’s the one I can cruise with and have a relaxing time but my expectations are set accordingly to ensure a smooth vacation experience.  When I board NCL next month I won’t go in expecting them to be like Royal because they are not… I expect them to nickel and dime me every chance they get but that’s how they build their marketing strategy and if you chose to cruise with them you have to be prepared!

Can I ask what part of NCL you feel is nickel and dime? I've mainly sailed NCL with a couple of Carnival and getting ready for a long postponed Anthem trip (covid). As I'm planning I'm really feeling the nickel and diming for Royal that I didn't necessarily feel on NCL.

Examples:

-Ever changing and ridiculously high prices for beverage/dining packages.

- previously included ifly and north star charge on sea days

- bite in the pub extra even with dining package 

- fast food type burger extra at JR

 

Not knocking RC at all, I just feel that snacks, drinks, specialty dining, and ship activities are all pretty well included on NCL (except Encore) so I'm wondering what I'm missing in comparison.
