CDC status for Allure OTS is orange

Not much. Most RC ships have been orange for quite a while.

 

Mathematically, it means more than 0.3% of passengers (including crew) tested positive for covid.

 

That's 3 per 1000. So say there are roughly 7000 people onboard, 22 puts the ship in orange.

Doesn’t it mean that if it is Orange on boarding day, that all cases are crew in quarantine?   Any +ve passengers would have been kicked off, and any +ve would not be able to board.

I believe the number has to drop below the threshold for a certain amount of time before the color will lower back to yellow (I could be wrong)... but I see your logic and it makes sense to me.

The lack of testing of B2B sorta messes that up.
