If I saw a person in a hazmat suit I would’ve posted the picture here. Maybe they were on your deck but not mine.

I was on Deck 7, but I honestly didn't really see them on our deck. I know I saw them on The Lido near the cabin areas and saw them several times when I was trying to get from the front  of the ship to the back of the ship for dinner when we would walk down the long hallways of cabins...there were a couple of floors that didn't run straight from the front to the back so would require us going to (for example) floor 2 and walk across. I almost ran into one going from the covered pool to the elevators by the atrium on The Lido, but mainly I saw them in the cabin areas.

It may also be that I was hyper aware of these seeing the cleaning equipment, etc. because I constantly have to tell my young children "don't touch."  When you have young kids who have to touch absolutely EVERYTHING and one who was still in the "oral" phase during the first part of the pandemic, you start noticing anything that might result in germ spreading.

See I wasn't on deck 2 at all. There's no reason for me to be down there. To get to the dining room I would take the promenade and go down a flight or two. Or if I were coming from my room just go straight back on my deck to the aft elevator lobby and down. But especially doing this review it's better to take promenade if possible that way I can keep everyone up on what kind of entertainment is happening in the atrium or casino along the way.

Yeah, after the first day, I figured out that with my kids in tow going to dinner I had to avoid the Promenade due to: 1) The Arcade, 2) The Cherry on Top, and 3) the coffee bar (with their delicious looking cupcakes) all being located right together or we would never make it to dinner...or my kids would be bugging us for the entirety of dinner to go back to the arcade and candy store. So, that's why we would often ride the elevator at the front of the ship down to 2, cut across the ship on two, and then walk up the stairs in front of level 3 aft dining. I definitely saw a lot of cleaning going on on 2.  I think we also cut across on 6 or our own floor once or twice until we figured out that the elevators in front of the dining room were usually pretty packed right before dinner.

My daughter with Noro Virus was on deck 2...

I developed a bit of a cough yesterday. Didn’t think much of it. Some other people in my department are out sick this week. It was mentioned by my boss today that something non-covid is going around.

I had a sandwich for lunch and it tasted nasty. I just threw it away thinking it was bad. On my way home from work I started to get a bit of a headache. Then tonight dinner tasted just as bad as lunch did. That’s when I knew I needed to test. The headache is much worse now.

My husband is feeling a bit under the weather, too!  Thinking maybe he needs to test.

Greg, it was great cruising and chatting with you.  I'm still giggling about "Are you Saint Greg?" and to realize we have sailed together before.  Sorry to see the positive test.  Seems like there is a lot of people positive in the social media group.  Makes me wonder if Covid was presenting as Noro in some folks.  Hmmm.  But I hope your symptoms stay pretty mild.  Take care.  Hope to cruise with you again soon!  I'm sure I'll find you at the Alchemy Bar if we do :).

I'm paperless on most things but some places don't give you the option. I only get one monthly bill through the mail. And it did come while I was gone. My dentist doesn't have a paperless option. I had something from him. A few things like that I had. If I could eliminate all non-amazon mail, I would. I don't think it can be done. Just ask Kramer.

Careful with that talk or you might receive a visit from Wilford Brimley

Woof. This is almost identical to my timeline post Splendor two weeks ago. I felt crummy starting Monday tested that morning, negative, tested again Wednesday morning, negative, went to urgent care Thursday morning, negative, they said sinus infection & bronchitis. Got home Thursday night, couldn’t taste my dinner, tested again, BAM, immediate dark positive like yours. Took 12 days to get my taste/smell fully back. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

I didn’t feel crummy Monday. I felt great Monday, Tuesday, and today until 5:30.
