So, is there a Cliff's Notes version that explains this program?  I started reading the linked document, but before long my lips were exhausted.

Don't need Cliff Notes. The pertinent point here is number 6. There is an entrance fee. Which I've read elsewhere, not directly from Princess, is a one time US$20.  Sorry if I'm off on that number. The entry fee is covered by the package to my reading. This ploy of trying to obfuscate the value of the package by adding a chance at a prize does not appeal to me.

Sorry, but this whole 'Prizes' thing really cheapens the brand, IMHO. I realize others may have differing opinions. Its more something I might expect from  Carnival....no disrespect intended to Carnival cruisers as we have also sailed with them when our kids were younger and had a good experience. But it is a different target market.

Now this is just a guess. I bottle of that great Champagne the boys make fresh every Tuesday in the boiler room the one you get for winning one of the trivia games.😋

This part makes NO sense to me.....

"You have unlimited spins while the casino is open".

Does this mean you just hang out by your door and keep opening and closing it for an "unlimited" amount of time (provided the casino is open?)

Oh look, you COULD win $5.......but 4 out of 5 of you won't win anything.    Sounds like the scratch cards you get at McDonald's....You COULD win $100,000 but you won a Free Coke!

If I can't get better than a free coke at McDonald's, what makes me think I'm going to win anything more than $5. 🙃

Guess, I should put mine wine down and just read and not post........

Maybe more pool chairs will be available on

sea days while passengers stand in the halls opening and closing their doors! If so works for me. 🤣

Wow, bitterly complaining about something that hasn't even started yet.

Curious what you saw as, "bitterly complaining." The OP asking about the terms and conditions of the new program, where to find the wording of the program, what prizes are awarded and when, the question of how to enter, "unlimited spins," or the jokes about the sparkling wine?

Likely written by some clueless person in the marketing department who doesn't understand the implications of what he/she is writing. The entire program is likely the brainchild of The Evil One.

My, what a "sincere" smile.

Not to mention you COULD win Free Wine Tasting or Chef's Lumiere......but oh wait, they aren't offering those at the moment.  They will give them to you in Future OBC small print:  You have to use them by December 2022, and not combinable with any other offer.

If it is anything like their Deal or No Deal game then you have literally no chance of winning a decent prize unless you are called on the stage to participate!

When they did Deal or no Deal in March on Majestic, everyone in the audience still got anything on their cards that won...and some people won some decent things

Abqmommyof4 and Lucky TGO, 😂😂😂😂😂 for your right on comments about the sparkling wine!!  Anyone who doesn’t appreciate 🤨.

If it is one of the prizes count me out.
I like the comment about just standing and opening your door all day to see if a winner, a way to save money in the Casino.  Would points add up and casino offers pop up too?  Might even come out ahead.

Nonstop attempts to nickel-and-dime you--that is just part of the cruise fare experience with the mainstream lines.  No different than the truck stops who offer cheap gas and then offer to sell you $5 grilled cheese sandwiches and $3 soft drinks, or the timeshares who offer you a whale of a deal provided you sit through a 90-minute presentation.

You just have to walk away from all the nickel-and-dimes.  This being one.   The problem is there is always that one family member in your party who is not good with money.

As I understand it, those who choose not to purchase the Premier package with all of its wonderful inclusions get one free door opening opportunity per cabin sometime during the cruise by an adult while at sea.
