Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅 Have you tasted the water in Tennessee , people think the rust on ship is bad 🤣

I have lost them a few times on ship and off, and somehow they get back to me..............So, I feel a bit like an elementary school child, but if works for me. I was thinking about labeling my trusty Camelbak thermal bottle with my cabin number. Sounds like a plan. Thanks!

Better than home! There is still a high amount of sodium in the water as it is not easily filtered out. We use a Brita just to be sure .

We use a Brita just to be sure . Check that…tap water on ships contains very little sodium, if any at all. It is a product of reverse osmosis. your Brita filter uses carbon which does not remove salt from water. WestLakeGirl Posted January 4 #36 Share Posted January 4 A quick Google search will confirm… A Brita filter does not remove salt…..one less thing to pack!
sanger727 Posted January 4 #37 Share Posted January 4 I always bring a refillable bottle. I drink a ton of water and hate wasting disposable bottles

After considering the options, I'm going to use some of the "weatherproof" mailing labels I've had for a couple of decades. I put one on the thermal bottle to see how it lasts (or doesn't) after several uses between now and the 20th.

Z'Loth Posted January 6 #40 Share Posted January 6 I would also bring along a water bottle for use on the airline flight.
Rare Tyler414 Posted January 6 #41 Share Posted January 6 I was on a Virgin cruise, and it pretty much requires some sort of water bottle... I was apprehensive about packing some big water bottle. It ended up working out great, kept the water cold all day on excursions, I will be bringing my new trusty water bottle on all cruises for now on. scanditaly Posted January 11 #42 Share Posted January 11 Follow-up from this past voyage. both Contigo water bottles worked wonderfully, with the added benefit of keeping our beverages cold. During a stop in Puerto Rico, at Barrahchina,(famous for their Pina coladas) I was able to purchase a wonderful "to-go" Pina colada, and along with the ice dregs from previous water, it was delicious to sip on as we wandered around town after lunch. Anytime we enjoyed a meal off-ship, I would pour in whatever my choice of beverage was thus keeping myself hydrated in the hot caribbean sun.
