TBurr Posted June 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2022 I am a Diamond Plus on RCCL, does that make any difference on Celebrity, any perks? If so, where do I register my RCCL Crown and Anchor nunber?
Nado44 Posted June 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2022 You will have Elite status on Celebrity. "If you are a Platinum, Diamond or Diamond Plus member in the Crown & Anchor Society but not a member of the Captain's Club and plan on sailing on Celebrity Cruises, call the Loyalty Service Center at (800) 526-9723 to enroll for equivalent recognition." (cut and pasted from the RCL website).
Arizona Wildcat Posted June 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2022 Not exactly equivalent, but the highest reciprocal status is Elite on Celebrity or Diamond on RCL. The laundry benefit is great. The others not so much unless you have a cruise only fare.

But you must enroll in advance as @jwlane said and also posted the link. Also here are the Captain's Club Loyalty Tier levels and benefits. https://www.celebritycruises.com/captains-club/tiers-and-benefits
George C Posted June 25, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2022 I currently prefer celebrity over rccl but there elite perks are not as good as rccl diamond.

And Royal Caribbean tops out at Discoverer for Azamara. Celebrity and Azamara reciprocity goes all the way up. Unfortunately no reciprocity for any of us with Silversea. There is no longer shared corporate ownership. I would like it if Silversea was added for a reciprocity program but so far it has not happened. Rare cruisestitch Posted June 26, 2022 #13 Share Posted June 26, 2022 Just after the purchase I talked to a hotel director who said that silversea operates so differently than Celebrity he didn’t see how the loyalty programs could ever be merged. And certainly there’s nothing so far.

Redtravel Posted June 27, 2022 #15 Share Posted June 27, 2022 I am elite plus. Sailed 2 weeks ago. The only benefits that I used was laundry and scoop of gelato. Laundry service was very slow. Had to hunt down my final bag after 3 days. Got it back in time to pack. Everything looked gray. Washed it all again after getting home. Folded everything including items that I asked to be pressed. After 29 cruises, I get a scoop of ice cream? No Captains club nightly reception? This is Loyalty?

Redtravel, The Captains Club nightly reception was modified to keep crowds down and also in response to passengers desires to enjoy their happy hour drinks without having to get dressed up since beachwear wasnt allowed. They changed it so that you can order drinks from the Captains Club menu at various bars around the ship. If you have an AI package then it probably doesn’t mean much to you and the only thing you might have missed was some appetizers used to be passed at the reception if you dont have a drinks package you can order from the Captains Club drinks menu from 5-7 there are other elite plus benefits in casino, spa, and elsewhere but perhaps nothing that interests you Edited June 27, 2022 by Alakegirl

Works well on RC even with the preloaded drinks on our SeaPass cards in the DL from 5 to 8 PM. Even before the elimination of the CC HH we could get drinks in most other bars between 5 to 7 PM not just in the Sky Lounge during the CC HH. Agree there are still other CC perks/benefits that are of value to us.

Well, yes, that would be nice. However, Elite is nowhere nearly equivalent to 100 VS days. If you're breaking it down by days, Elite is is 100 nights in a Veranda cabin. If you're breaking it down by spend, you can get to Elite by spending somewhere around $10-20k per person. Either way, that's a far cry from 100 VS nights. E+ is more like it, and even that might be pushing it.
