WWC24 ONLY works on World cruise and ONLY on the 121 /160 day run to Londan. Does NOT work if going to NYC.

It appears that presently the discount is “baked in” the price. If you go to the website the “Spring Sale” with “reduced air” banner appears without any promo code. This late in the year additional 2024 discounts seem unlikely unless some sailings are undersold.

IMO off season Mediterranean is the perfect time to go and these deals are really good. Temperatures in the high 50s low 60s are ideal for excursions. We took the Journey to Antiquities last Jan-Feb any absolutely loved it. Our tour guide in Athens explained how in the summer you can’t stay on the Acropolis for more than a few minutes. We had a few days of rain but we dealt with it.  It was much better than dealing with 90-100 degree heat without shade. In some ports we were the only ship docking. Minimal crowds are a big plus in my book.

Agree.  We did the Journey to Antiquities this past Christmas/New Year.  Weather was good (windbreaker type weather) and crowds were not bad all. 

 

We spent an extra three days in Rome at the end of the cruise, and it was pretty crowded but we were told that crowds are normal in Rome in and around Christmas.

How are people getting the brochures and sales codes that you’re sharing? We have a river cruise scheduled next month and an ocean scheduled in Sept’24, both have been scheduled for several months. Other than Expedition and China opportunities, we haven’t received anything since last Labor Day. I’ve requested a few times, Viking agent has requested, we’ve been sent nothing. When friends inquired about Viking we used to give them a brochure to look at, which is much friendlier than telling them to go online and find it, and good publicity. It’s pretty frustrating, glad I found this board.

An aside question, our Sept cruise is one of the itineraries above that shows free international airfare. We’re paid in full, will Viking give us a refund on what we paid for airfare? Thanks!

Nope. The same with most transactions. (Some stores offer price guarantees, but most don't.)

And switching to the current pricing might not be a good deal for you. The base price of the cruise might be higher than you paid, or some credit you got might not be available. Viking changes prices all the time and in many cases the net result after discounts doesn't change much.
