Odd we have only one ship in Sydney for the 24-25 season,Let’s see what happens.

Is that related to Brisbane?  If Brisbane wasn't a home port would another ship be in Sydney?

Yes and no but this coming season we have 3 ships in Australia.

Quantum in Brisbane ,Brilliance and Ovation in Sydney .

Yep ,they are in business to make money for the shareholders but ovation is getting a premium price in Sydney.

A friend said to me to jump across to Carnival as the prices are a third of Ovation and showed me . They are much cheaper, so I don’t think it’s not a question of profit.

I was already jumping ship to carnival back in 2020. Too bad covid didn't let me jump. Must have been fate to stick with Royal. XD

I feel like we are trying to build a puzzle but someone (Royal) like a playful younger sibling has hidden some the puzzle pieces.  Until they dump the missing puzzle pieces onto the table...

And RCI has a habit of hiding those pieces at their whim, plus taking them out of the completed puzzle altogether when they want to annoy us.  😠

More a World Cruise in the next deployment with Oasis Class.

Interesting.
An Oasis class based in APAC could also justify the claim to be “going global”.

That feels more likely than a world cruise.

They haven’t fully sold out Serenade yet, and she has less than half the capacity of Allure. And the ports visited would be restricted by her size.

There’s 2 missing pieces of a puzzle that it could fill .

Singapore March -October 24 and Sydney 24-25 season

Singapore… maybe.
Sydney… almost no chance I’d say.

Yes.  There would be a lot of sea days because there are few suitable ports.. A Voyager class would be more likely for a world cruise with more capacity.

Allure is not on sale after 27 to 30 January 2025 cruise.

Maybe this is where the global adventures begin. At this time of the year going around South America does sound like a possibility.

I would guess it’s another world cruise but not Allure, very limited in ports.

I just can’t see it.

Surely they’ll want to see how the first one goes before committing to another. Is there really enough demand for another so soon?

That's a bit sooner than I expected, I literally don't know where it would call from SG.

That’s true, there aren’t many ports for an Oasis to call at on round trip cruises from Singapore.  Klang and Penang perhaps?
China would have to be a more likely deployment.  If there is anything in this at all, I guess it’s for 2025 - not so soon.

I don't think Allure can tender in Phuket in the newer deep water bay port.

It seems to me that the smaller segments of the world cruise have been very popular. Unique itineraries, ports not normally called at. But for my wife's current health problems we would have booked a couple of the released small segments .

If they released a "world cruise " with the small segments avaible right from the start I reckon it could sell really well at good prices.

They would have to get the pricing right so that the folks on the entire voyage were not disadvantaged but with the correct framework of included perks etc this should be perfectly possible to achieve.

I love all the speculation 🙂

Going global could mean new international expansion.  South America for example.

It could also be a tease that ends up being something else completely.
