Beach is kinda small. Some rocks and the darker area is sea grass. Nothing compares to yesterday’s sand bar.

Nice place but the beach area wasn’t that great. Food and service was outstanding. Rum punch a downer. Will I come back probably not. I still enjoyed myself it was a relaxing afternoon.

Many of you know me as a Christmas freak. I put up seven trees and have an extensive Santa collection that my mom started. Many of them hand carved. So when I saw this I had to have it. Meet Santa Sea Dog.

I remember my parents taking me on a vacation cross country.

We stayed at one of those road side motels with the colorful neon signs along Route 66. The motel’s bed had one of the massage beds and for a quarter the bed would vibrate for about 10 minutes. My brother and I convinced Dad to drop in a quarter to try it. We never giggled so much in our lives.

So watch Tom The Turkey Towel. I slept like a baby last night. The gentle vibration from the ships engines and the slight rocking from the sea put this Sea Dog in heaven. I completely forgot about the pain in shoulder. And hey I didn’t have to put in a quarter!

Soon breakfast in the MDR. We are at Falmouth, Jamaica and will be at the Bamboo Beach Club for VIP lunch and drinks. Yeah Mon!!!

Holy moly!  Where on the ship is your cabin located??

Looks like you had a great time at Stingray City and had a much smaller crowd than we did.  Here's what it looked like for us in 2010.  There was a ring of boats with guests wading in the middle, and more boats waiting for a spot in the "ring" to open up.  That was in June, which is probably their peak crowd season.  It was still a lot of fun.

For those interested, we used Captain Marvin's, who claims that they get to Stingray City earlier than most other excursions to beat the crowd (true for us) and then they go snorkeling somewhere else.

That looks way more crowded. I’ve made note of Captain Marvin for the future. Thank you so much

Are you in port? I don't recall crew drills like that on any ship while sailing.

O.B., Even though Greg did say they were in port, I've been on cruises that conducted crew drills while we were underway. It helps sharpen their skills when they have to deal with "obstacles" and other things when you have a ship full of passengers.

I’m proud that I was able to hold it on my bad shoulder without too much pain. The sacrifices I must make for a good pic. Forgot to add that was the official @Ocean Boy pose.

A few other things, they said there was free internet but when they gave us the password it did not work.

They did do a complimentary shot of white and dark rum and fruit juice with coconut cream base. It was good. Sorry no pictures.

They also took pictures of all of us I am assuming to sell but they never got around to it. Reason why? We were 45 minutes late into this excursion because we had to wait for a couple to show up at port before the bus could leave. They never showed so our whole experience was supposed to last 5 hours and was really shy of 3 hours. I say leave them. If you can’t show up to your assigned time and spot you lose. sorry Charlie!

It was a nice day and relaxing. As we were leaving I could see the storm clouds roll in. It started raining hard the moment we got off the bus. Needless to say we were soaked by the time we got on board.

Forgot to mention Harmony was in port with us.

Had a good horn battle when we left.

Also I forgot to post pictures of the wonderful decorations Naria our cabin steward put in Linda’s cabin for our anniversary.

I really liked them because they have so much flavor and are a little bit spicy. I thought it was great that they made something off the menu for me. Most of the chefs are from India and they cook a lot of Indian favorites for the crew. Most of you know this but for those who don’t you can always ask for Indian food in the MDR. They will be so happy to accommodate you. My waiter this morning from India seemed very happy that I requested it and enjoyed it.

You have inspired me.  I am going to see if I can get vindaloo, especially lab but will settle for beef, chicken, or pork, on my next cruise 🙂

We went for Filipino dishes on our last cruise.  We had pancit for lunch and chicken and pork adobo with dinner in Coastal Kitchen.

Your pictures are looking great!  I've still got 2 months left before my iPhone 12 Pro Max is fully paid off.  Not sure I can wait that long.  The more I look at your posts, the more I want to get it now.

I love the camera on my 13 Pro Max but I think I'll skip upgrading to the 14 Pro Max and see what comes out after that.  I have been every other version for a number of years now.

I wonder if that was on purpose.

Lol, I wouldn’t be surprised. It wasn’t the rum that was so bad but whatever fruit juice they used as it was very bland. Red Stripe was good but $5 a bottle or 5 in a bucket for $20 The guide asked if I wanted a massage. I said no because of a broken collarbone. I did ask how much. She said $20 for 15 minutes. I told her I got one in Costa Naya for $20 for an hour. She seemed annoyed at my reply.

Greg quick question about this drink. Do you just order a Kracken Lava Flow and they automatically add the floater? Or do you have to ask for the floater?

Loved the stingray excursion photos and video. That water is amazing.
Your Jamaica beach day looked very nice. Even with a few annoyances, it still beats a day at work!

I was amazed at how many there was. There was 2 other tour boats with us so they must have had good numbers too. The guide had a big bag of squid. The rays went crazy when he brought that out. So I think the large numbers that came out know that it will be feeding time.. I am still amazed that the handlers know the one ray that comes to them everytime

When we were doing this they handed Sharon a squid.  She was trying to get out a ways so she was holding it above her head.  A bird dived down and grabbed it.  Scared her.

I wasn't a rum fan either until I tried Kraken two cruises ago after reading so many recommendations. Now I don't go a day without having at least one drink that includes it while cruising.

Ok what’s a good simple drink for me to try when I open my kraken? As I said we did Sting Ray city a few times , once was on a Italian line either MSc or Costa , there were two large Italian groups on this excursion, one guy had taken some coral which is not allowed, so one guy from the other group told the captain and this huge loud argument started , I only know a few curse words in Italian and they were repeated several times , one of the crew from Jamaica was on the floor laughing at this .
