A chance to be chosen "as the player". If chosen, you would be the one to choose the cases. However, each card is barcoded and everyone else "plays" along with their card compared to what cases the chosen one picks. Most of the prizes were casino cash.

You can win some free play if not picked.  So for $50 each we won a total of $45 - fun once but won't do it again.

I’ve played this on NCL and during my last cruise something dawned on me - it’s all electronically calculated - making it easily manipulated!  How does one know the $ value of a case isn’t truly assigned at time the final case is opened?  These cruise lines know how many cards are sold, who holds a card with X amount of matches. Etc. That’s how they tell you how the audience is doing.

on this one particular NCL game, the cruise line sold let’s say sold 200 cards at $35 each ($7,000 in sales). They gave back $1.00 from the “winning case”, 4 photos (worth Pennies), and 1 $ $50 winner. Later in the same week, the outcomes from the other games were similar. That’s CrAzY!

Same thing with ELECTRONIC bingo. At $50 a pack of bingo cards, Let’s pull some real balls!

who overseas (pun intended) these at sea money making scams?!?!

We used the Elite Plus benefit of 4 cards for the price of 3.  When buying the at the cashiers window the cashier took one card and did something on the computer and then said this card is a winner.

We weren’t drawn to be a contestant and I think it it better not to be.   We ended up winning  $400 cash on that card by matching 6 numbers.   My wife claims he did something to the card.   I said he was just making the charge  to our account.  Coincidence?🤷‍♂️     We also won some smaller amounts that were for casino play.    There weren’t many playing and it was held in Celebrity Central.

Neither person drawn to play won much money.  One did win a cruise but said it was about worthless.   It was a 3 night Caribbean cruise in a inside cabin.  I seen her later and she  said they wouldn’t be using it because of the available dates and the travel cost involved.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We played Deal or No Deal on our last cruise. Won $50 in casino credit (could choose slots or table games) and then we played and ended up with $250, so a net winning of $200. It was fun and it could have easily gone the other way, but we chalk it up to the cost of an evening’s entertainment.

We put the $200 away and will be using it as spending $ on our next cruise.
