bigeagle12 Posted November 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2022 We are doing a 14 day cruise. Are we allowed to carry on 2 bottles of wine each?
franktown Posted November 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2022 No. One bottle each free. You can carry on more and pay corkage. That's what we did.

Our friends did a back to back .. security stopped them .. showed them both sets of boarding passes .. and they let them take them on. 1

beluga_baby Posted November 10, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2022 Out of curiosity, does each person need to physically carry the bottle on themself? Or can one person put two bottles in their carry-on and just indicate it's for a two-person stateroom?

If it is a true 14-night cruise (not sold also as 7+7), then the limit is 1/pp. It is 1 btl/pp per physical segment and you can bring on the full quota at the beginning of your logical voyage. Agree no problem on a back to back but it is on a scheduled 14 day cruise. Go figure.

Security staff in Europe couldn't care less about how many bottles you have at embarkation.
antsp Posted November 11, 2022 #11 Share Posted November 11, 2022 The ones in LA seem to be the strictest, they need to relax a bit, it's only wine 1

Which port and what day of the week? You are asking for an answer that isn't possible. You can take 2 bottles on board in your carry on luggage. I also have never been challenged bringing wine on board at a port stop. One person says ok and another no. Could one break the rule and have 2 cabin mates each bring 2 bottles on board? Discussed here is some 200 threads!
