Rare Cruise till you drop Posted January 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) I’ve been searching high and low and need help. We cruise in 9 days. Is it true you don’t need to show proof of vaccination before the cruise ? Edited January 5, 2023 by Cruise till you drop

Rare SumoCitrus Posted January 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2023 No. On a recent Carribbean cruise they asked us in the security checkpoint whether we were vaccinated due to Grand Turk's entry requirements. There no was no request to see a card it was just honor system. We were truthful and stayed on board during Grand Turk.

Rare HaveDogWillTravel Posted January 5, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Do not take any answer here as the truth. In fact don’t take the word of anyone on the other end of the princess 1800 #. Read your travel summary, read the princess website FAQs @MelbTonewas kind enough to link. The answer will be very clearly spelled out.

There's a link in there to click to find protocols for specific cruises. https://www.princess.com/protocol/ Edited January 5, 2023 by Shmoo here 3
SargassoPirate Posted January 5, 2023 #10 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Just carry your vaccination card with your passport and you are prepared. 4

1965 Posted January 5, 2023 #12 Share Posted January 5, 2023 We always bring our vax proof. Some ports require it. Some do not. Best to be prepared. Have a great cruise.,

latebloomer56 Posted January 5, 2023 #14 Share Posted January 5, 2023 We keep ours with our pass ports just in case. But if you go to your booking on the Princess site on the top of the page it has health advisories. Have a great cruise.
Rare Cruise till you drop Posted January 5, 2023 Author #15 Share Posted January 5, 2023 Thanks for the great feedback. We will carry our vax cards just in case but understand that for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise, they there is no vax requirement
donaldsc Posted January 5, 2023 #16 Share Posted January 5, 2023 We always carry a copy of our vaccination card w us at all times. Seems like an obvious and simple solution. I also have a link on my phone that connects me with our state vaccination record WEB site. DON
Redwing55 Posted January 5, 2023 #17 Share Posted January 5, 2023 I don't have any questions, but saying to carry one's Vax card may not actually take care of things. Maybe a booster or two are required? Maybe the passenger isn't vaxed at all. So yeah, check the site and hopefully the answer will be there.
