We Are on the NCL joy if you have specific questions you would like to ask I would be happy to answer them.

Are you in the Haven? Do you have the premium plus drink upgrade? My questions pertain to those two things.

After having two Joy cruises cancelled during the shutdown, we will finally be onboard in April.  It looks like a lovely ship!   Thanks for offering to share information with us.

Please let us know if you eat at The Local and if the food is good.   We usually enjoy this venue on most ships, but some ships are better than others.  Have enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and some really good burgers.  (Nice change from MDR or Specialty dining.)   In Prima's Local, there were complimentary Hot Fudge Sundaes on the menu, but I haven't heard of that elsewhere.  (Breakaway had a $5 charge.)

Also, if you happen to spend anytime in the Casino, could you let us know the name or names of the Casino Hosts?  (We usually know them from prior cruises.)     And if you are a casino player, do they have a good selection of updated machines?

Hope you have a wonderful cruise😎

Have you gone to the dining room  for lunch? Want to know if they had the monte cristo sandwich on any of the menus

I was on the Joy for Christmas.  The monte cristo was on the menu for the first sea day, and it was as lovely as ever.

If you embarked in L A can you let us know how it went and if you are at berth 46 ... and how the entertainment is as you go along ....Have a great time !!!!

The entertainment is really good on this ship.  The Beatles are much better than the Beatles were on the Bliss.  Footloose was excellent my only complaint is that the sound could be turned down a little bit. Loved Duo Delight.  The comedians were just OK.

can you post the dailies?  I know the itinerary will change before we board (in 40), but it would be good to see what the CD does.

How is the food in the MDRs?  Are the lines controlled, or is it a cluster?

Any chance you go to the art auction?  How is the auctioneer?

enjoy your sail!!

Are you able to book dinner with the free promotion prior to embarking or did you need to wait until you got on.  Enjoy

Dinner reservations open for the masses 120 days before sailing.

Also, We are traveling with a friend who is single, do you see any Singles Mingles in the freestyle daily?

There are always Solo meetings every night, usually around 5 or 5:30 pm. The first night is typically in a bar with subsequent meetings in the Solo Lounge but since the Joy does not have solo cabins, they will all be elsewhere.  My guess from past experience is Sugarcane Mojito Bar.  Attending the first night is usually best for meeting people right away...and even if traveling with others, it doesn't hurt to stop by. Time and location will be in the Freestyle daily.
