Coming on Enchanted. Maybe Sky is equipped for it too, with the same layout?  Other ships don't have a room for this, until they're doing a major retrofit.

Only Discovery and Enchanted have the room design for 360. They would have to modify Sky.

I believe this has been an introductory period where (mostly) Suite guests are invited to experience it.  From my readings, the intent is that it will have a hefty cover charge.

I was asked in a post cruise survey how much I thought 360 should cost and how much I’d be willing to pay for the experience.  I said that the price should be what people pay for the Chef’s Table.  As much as I enjoyed the experience, I wouldn’t pay more than $150 pp.

Aside from mentioning our 360 server in the post-cruise survey, we did offer her a small token of appreciation.    Nobody working on a cruise ship aside from those wearing several stripes is making bank.

Are invitations for the 360 event sent only to full suite passengers or can anyone qualify?

We were not in a full suite. Stayed in a deluxe balcony.  We were invited while onboard , talked to other nonsuite guests who had received a phone call prior to sailing.

In our group, there was a mixture of suite, non suite, Casino vip and a retired Princess officer.  Also a mix of first time cruisers, platinum and elites.

We were called a week before the cruise. We were not suite passengers, but we are elites. We were with three other couples and only the other elite couple was contacted. We went together and had a great time. Our post-cruise surveys did not ask about the 360.

It sounds interesting.

Maybe I'll stand a chance to attend.

Eventually they're supposed to be doing it on the Enchanted. It's just a two ships that were mentioned that we'll be having it The Enchanted and Discovery

Maybe they'll add it on the Enchanted during their drydock in April ?

Thanks for everyone’s input. We booked a suite on Discovery (first time and maybe last simply because of the cost but part of the reason we booked was 360 but mainly to get 2 credits for Elite since we are so close.) It sounds like handle 360 the way you would a specialty restaurant as far as tipping. We always tip but we understand it’s absolutely optional. That’s our personal preference and I appreciate everyone’s input on how much they feel is appropriate. This is helpful since it’s a new experience for us.

Maybe it will be free for suite guests, but if you use your cabin phone to acknowledge the invite, it's $5

We were unprepared for some reason and did not take any tip money with us.  We felt terrible because at the end of the event we would have loved to have been able to tip.  We did however, provide excellent reviews by name of all the individuals that served us that evening.  We are very thankful that we are in a position to be able to share what little extra we have with such hardworking wonderful people who make our cruise experience so fabulous.  Just our personal opinion.

I have a question for people who have done the 360 Dining Experience.

Did you tip after the dinner was done?

If so how much for how many people?

Thanks

We tipped both waiters $20 each...it was free for us.

I did the same, but I did get names and send envelopes.  Took $$ the swing time.  I did $20 for server and $10 for Rafael.

fThe first time I went I was booked in a Suite.  The 2nd I was in a deluxe, obstructed balcony and was able to invite my 3 travel mates.

My old post is rather dated now.  They have obviously opened it up to more than Suite guests.  And still a free event.

The same for us - I got dressed just for the event, and didn’t think of transferring my wallet and cash into my fancy duds.

I was also thinking - “I’m not even sure who/how to tip anyone”.  I didn’t remember the same servers assisting us throughout the entire dinner.  That very well may have been the case, but we were just so enthralled by the whole dinner, I just didn’t notice.  I’ll definitely pay more attention this next trip.

Exactly - actually I was a little disappointed in how many people showed up in jeans, t-shirts and hoodies.  I get that it is considered a casual event. But maybe smart casual would be more appropriate.

..and you can add lack to table manners, and wearing ball caps to that list.
