You will not see anything called a boarding pass on the app but once you complete all needed info and order medallion you will show Greenland and be good to go

But what if I’m going to Hawaii??😬.

What comes up is a QR code. Every one you come into contact typically wants to see either the paper documentation for the QR code.

Our cruise from Galveston in in 35 days. We are both Green, all documents are there apparently. However, there is no QR code or anything else resembling a boarding pass on the app. I have already printed off our Travel Summary from Princess.com and I will be sure to have that in my hand when I show for check in.

Remember when things were so much simpler....like before all these apps made life "so much easier and convenient" for us?😒

There is no more boarding pass and I think boarding couldn’t be easier! We are just off the Royal Princess yesterday. For check-in all they wanted was one of us to scan our medallion and show both passports. Took about 2 minutes total. They didn’t ask to see my QR code or my travel summary. My phone and travel summary stayed in my bag throughout the check-in process. I will still always have these items with me but when I check in now I will only have my medallion and passport out.

Agreed easy as pie. We only bring  the travel summary in case there is an issue with an excursion or casino free play

I’m also sailing from Galveston in 21 days and I had to select my boarding group and you will then see your QR code in the app. I agree it’s confusing because it looked like I was set but I hadn’t chosen an arrival group and it didn’t seem to prompt me to do that, I had to dig around in the app to find it.

How does one find the digital boarding pass on the Medallion App?

It is available after final payment and about a month (ish) before the cruise.

You have to complete all the steps on the medallion app (or on the website) and be in the Green Lane.

Well, hopefully we will receive our Medallions before we fly to the departure port. But in any event, I will have a printed copy of anything I think could be used to show I'm "entitled" to board the ship: our Paid in Full invoice, our Princess Travel Summary, Passports, shot card and anything else I can think of that might get us on the ship! Yes, having that Medallion in our hot little hands will reduce the stress level a bit even though I can't see what's on the Medallion!😉

We board in 35 days, final payment was made two months ago. We're Green in the App, but I don't see anything about a boarding time nor any QR code, whatever that is. However, we have a Princess airport transfer so selecting a boarding time is moot anyway; we'll arrive when the bus arrives.

The app is not at all intuitive.  They must have had monkeys as their QA testers...taking money works perfectly.... everything else.. well.....

To Select a boarding group.

Open the App..

Click on Personal Information and Documents

On the Ocean Ready screen scroll down and find the suggested box

Click on Arrivals

Click Get started

click your Ship name

Then on that page, at the bottom, click on Arrival Group +Choose a group

Then select an arrival time.   (when you select, you have to scroll down to see the accept button, works poorly on some phones)

That will enable your boarding group and the QR code.

The app says that if you do not pick an arrival time, you will be provided on prior to departure

Have been on seven Princes cruises since they started using the useless APP.  Have never needed the QR code.  Be sure to have your passport.

As others have said, there is no longer a 'boarding pass' but after you are in the Green Lane AND have chosen an Arrival Time (as @Valiamo has described above which must be done in the mobile App and not online at Ocean Ready site) you should get a QR code like this one for our recent Sky Princess cruise. Depending on which 'Arrival Group' you choose that will be displayed (but not the time frame). In our two cruises since the start-up, they have never asked to see this QR code - only thing they asked is if we had our Medallions and our passport.

It’s really not that necessary, on our last cruise we didn’t even get to book an arrival time, said unavailable all the time. The only thing we needed the whole time was our passport, went through security scanner, then to the desk to get our medallions (in Canada and we can’t have them shipped), another lady checked our passports and we were boarding the ship in less then 15 minutes.

Exact same experience for us on Ruby boarding on 2/5 out of Galveston.  I had my phone app and papers ready, but the only items needed were our Medallions and passports. Super easy!
