Despite cutbacks at the buffet, there's still ribeye on the last night of cruise

Maybe word hasn't reached South America yet.   Hopefully it's a marginal picture as it doesn't look very appealing.

X corporate to the Infinity F&B team: "If we catch you serving budget-busting ribeye in March, you're all terminated"

Two questions, was this lunch or dinner and would you mind checking if the ribeye makes an appearance on the MDR dinner menu in the X app?

dinner.

dinner time is over at mdr so it's not giving me the menu

Yuck!  Ribeye from what animal??  No wonder the pan is full...

Not knocking the OP at all...I appreciate that this was posted!

lol.. they just refilled the pan.
i agree, whoever cut it from the bulk beef block should be moved to another position.

most of the pieces didnt have a well defined ribeye cap (outer part of the ribeye).

after my 1st serving, i made several passes before i saw some pieces that had some resemblance  of the ribeye cap.

but it was still tasty.

tasted much better than the sirloin steak next to it.

Summit 8/2023 transatlantic to Iceland.

This was lunch.

Same day as lobster night for dinner.

Prime rib made to order instead of a mass of beef in a pan like a few pics up.

Very tender.

And ribeye was on mdr dinner on 2 previous nights.

Currently on solstice from Vancouver to Hawaii (one way).

No ribeye :(

So far this year: yes ribeye on summit and infinity, no on solstice

maybe Ribeyes served on m-class buffet but not s-class?

does m-class have Fine Cut steak house?

if not then that would explain it. Ribeyes in buffet would conflict with profit from fine cut on s-class .

also, s-class has the lawn club grill, which also serves Ribeyes

Fine Cut is only on E class ships not on either M or S class ships.  Only 2 of the 5       S    Class ships have the Lawn Grill, Reflection and Silhouette the other 3 have the Hot Glass studio in that space.

Maybe the reduction of menu items in the past 6 weeks or so account for no ribeye on your cruise.

Thx for the info.

i usually sail m + E class.

I'm shocked s-class doesn't have a steak house. 😮

restaurant cut backs that started 6 weeks ago have no effect on ribeyes on Solstice.
