Anyone got Ventura updates from leak ?

I have been informed that one of the pools piping had sprung a leak yesterday and has

caused some nasty flooding reportedly on B deck 11 .

This has caused some cabins to be out of service.

The ship is in Miami  and I was asked if anyone on Cruise Critic has any info ?

I had seen this reported and was also hoping to see updates of the current situation. Is Miami a scheduled port stop, or due to the situation?

Not great for the passengers who have been affected, but as if working on a cruise ship isn't a hard enough shift without having to roll up your trousers and paddle along the carpet.

On Aurora last week in Force 12, water was pouring in from decks under the doors. Carpets were soaked and people on bar stools were surrounded by water. Mopping up and many towels did the trick!

Any idea which cabins have been affected Phil?  Is it midship B deck, or has it seeped further than that?

I would find it odd that B deck is affected. The plant room for the pools is usually directly below the pools - Riviera, Deck A at most. I wonder if its just a general burst pipe.

That was my first thought and wondered the same .

At least it wasn't a sewage leak, a whole different smelly problem...

My understanding is that it was a burst pipe and only a few cabins were affected.

The latest I have been told is it was a fresh water pipe that burst on deck 11

which affected a few cabins . Nothing to do with pools or grey water .
