hawkesbaynz Posted May 19, 2023 #1987 Share Posted May 19, 2023 Love the picture of the tatooe’d elderly chap standing by Our Cilla’s statue (#1979). Looked like he was wearing one of her wigs!

Rare Jim_Iain Posted May 20, 2023 Author #1994 Share Posted May 20, 2023 Waterford. Today me may stay local in Dunmore East where we are anchored. Due to lack of local infrastructure they have a shuttle at 38 dollars per person and a 40 minute + drive each way . I’m sure we will find some things of interest. If not we can take the local bus 1.35 euros pp

Rare Jim_Iain Posted May 20, 2023 Author #1996 Share Posted May 20, 2023 Last night they had a tribute to the Beatles. At 9 pm not a seat to be had. That’s one complaint I hear about Apex. IMG_5096.mov
JeanieC,Aston Posted May 20, 2023 #1997 Share Posted May 20, 2023 I remember seeing the band on I think Eclipse a few years ago. They did the show in the theatre, then because they weren’t leaving the ship for a couple of days Sue Denning convinced them to play another late night gig in the Sky Lounge. The ship was bouncing,,,standing room only. I came off Silhouette last week and people where complaining they don’t have act like those or Tenors of Rock on ships anymore….I agreed,,,,comedians and magician’s have had their day. 3

Rare Jim_Iain Posted May 20, 2023 Author #1999 Share Posted May 20, 2023 (edited) We went ashore after the main surge ended. The tender only had about a dozen people on it and was quite comfortable. After in arriving in East Dunmore we decided to walk along the waterfront to Lower Dunmore. Iain had said if there was an East Dunmore there must be another Dunmore. There was.
