That is probably one of the reasons why we had a brief stop in Acapulco this morning. Although if it was just a minor case of Covid etc they could have let them off tomorrow morning rather than diverting the whole ship, so no need to read more into it. Remember the recent changes to the cruise contract? Wait. You are talking about the if-you-get-sick clauses. So for your cruise, it's if-you-get-sick then welcome to Acapulco! I'm not sure how heavy-handed this is being enforced. Because if that was the case, my neighbors would have been on the barge this morning heading to shore rather than having room service on the balcony. Quite unfortunate as I was looking forward to the Dover Sole at Tuscan just to be told it's not available. Does the Tuscan grill ever have Dover Sole? Something unique to the Millennium Class ships? True but I would have to be darn near dead to let anyone official know I am sick on the cruise. It would have to be something that full doses of ibuprofen and tylenol could not get under control for me to ask for help.

I would do everything in my power not to infect anyone else - don't get me wrong - I would semi-quarantine and take a lot of extra precautions. I would mask up and sanitize my hands constantly when out of the room, would have family bring me food from buffets and counter options, would not go to shows or would only go if the venue was half empty and I could sit off in a corner alone, would try to refuse steward service to protect them too.

Rare Fly and Sail Posted May 3, 2023 #625 Share Posted May 3, 2023 Has anyone used the jacuzzis? They were first lukewarm, then they got fixed and today they’re back to lukewarm. And the pools contains so much chlorine I could sterilize the entire vessel just by walking up and down the hallways.
