It is SO good. I do wish they could be consistent with it, though. The peanut butter is a game changer, and I know it sounds crazy, but it really makes all the difference in the world. I'm glad to have read this as it's our only vivid memory from The Carnival Triumph. This way we won't have too much built up in advance. I remember our first cruise on HAL many years ago and we were psyched for the Bread Pudding. That was quite the letdown but the candied ginger was a delight cause we knew nothing of it on the way out of the dining room. Carnival’s Melting Chocolate Cake Recipe | Carnival Cruise Line INGREDIENTS: 6oz Dark Chocolate 6oz Butter 4 Eggs 3oz Sugar 2oz Flour HOW TO MAKE IT: Melt the chocolate and butter Mix eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes, then add flour Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix Pour the mix in a greased mold Bake directly in the oven at 390°F for 14 minutes The video shows putting the souffle cups in a pan of water. The recipe doesn't mention that, instead it says bake directly in the oven. That probably make a big difference on how much the inside bakes. Love the chocolate melting cake and there is another one in the MDR I love even more (can't think of name), but I feel like the cakes in the lido are pretty flavorless and often dry. Overall on the Panorama I did not care for any of their desserts. Cakes all dry and not much to choose from. I usually ate a cookie or two and the soft swirl ice cream.
