Rare dropbackandpunt Posted May 9, 2023 #29 Share Posted May 9, 2023 Strawberry bisque on the first night and Baked Alaska on the final night. The perfect way to start and end a cruise!
Rare MistyRo76 Posted May 9, 2023 #30 Share Posted May 9, 2023 Another vote for escargot! And when they offered it, the Warm Pumpkin Soup! And I miss Key Lime Pie on the dessert menu! It's a Caribbean must!
Rare Saint Greg Posted May 9, 2023 #31 Share Posted May 9, 2023 I usually try to get to the dining room when they have grand marnier souffle or bitter n blanc for dessert.

SDPadreFan Posted May 9, 2023 #33 Share Posted May 9, 2023 West Indian Pumpkin Soup (I always ask for a BIG bowl). And of course the Chocolate Melting Cake (but typically just once each sailing). Except for the salmon (not a salmon fan), I will get all the "fish" entrees.

Rare SRQbeachgirl Posted May 9, 2023 #37 Share Posted May 9, 2023 Bitter and Blanc, chilled soups, and Spaghetti carbonara. I eat lobster and/or steak in restaurants almost every week, so I can pass on those, but give me ALL THE CARBS when I'm on a cruise! However, on our last Mardi Gras cruise we didn't eat in the MDR at all.

Markmom18 Posted May 10, 2023 #50 Share Posted May 10, 2023 ~ Mmmm … scallop appetizer. ~ Only once during the cruise, I like to order the chocolate melting cake. ~ My husband gets 3 scoops of ice cream each evening. I like to share a taste of each flavor. Of course, still order my own dessert 😋.
