Suite Internet ?

If staying in a GS or higher internet is included in your cruise fare.

How does this work? Is there a card with login details and password in your stateroom

or do you have to go to the internet desk and register / Signup?

It is included on Oasis and Quantum (and soon to be on Icon) class ships only.  Log in instructions will be in your stateroom

 

On Freedom class and below it is not included with any suite.

It would depend on what ship you’re sailing on. Oasis class and I think Quantum class yes all others no.

Once connected to the ship's wifi, if you open the app and click the internet button, it's pretty self explanatory. You will just be asked for basic info like name and cabin number.

When you log on and buy the Internet you will be presented with a 'coupon' for a free length of the cruise.  Only on Oasis and Quantum class ships.

No disagreement here.  Not something I would expect to see added anytime soon with the accountant in charge though.

Simple solution:  Raise suite prices $30pppd and provide "free" Voom = Profit!

Suites are cheaper on the older ships.  They would just charge more if they started adding sky class benefits to all ships.   You get what you pay for and for some that is good because they don’t want or need internet for everyone in the suite.

You do realize many wouldn’t want to pay the extra Royal would want for including the additional perk?  If everyone was willing to pay extra for the perk, they would build it in.  They have been excluding it for a reason for a while.   Maybe they will change when everyone wants and will pay the extra for

the perk.

This is not necessarily true about suite pricing as other factors come into play. I'm not asking for sky class benefits but including internet shouldn't be that big of a deal.

No one would notice the difference if it was just WIFI. I always forget to buy it on the smaller ships until the last minute so it's mainly just a pain in the butt and I miss out on the sales.

With how quickly the suites sell and the price the suites go for they could easily raise the price of the suites.  There would be no shortage of takers.  For every person who bslks at itvyjere will be others to take their place.

I only book suites and have never bought internet. And we tend to stick to Freedom/Voyager class, so no Royal Suite free internet.
