Find the shuttle and worse comes to worse ride around and look. Oasis beach or some name seems like where I was.

Not the best advice -- if you're hoping to snag a front-row seat with a great view of the ocean.  Coco Cay has PLENTY of chairs, but if you ride around on the shuttle "looking", you'll end up with a chair a couple rows back.  Better to look at maps online (or go to Guest Services onboard and ask for a brochure) and choose your beach ahead of time.  The basics, assuming you're not paying:

- Chill Island -- quietest beach, nearest the ship, quiet, nice beach, convenient to food and other services

- Breezy Bay -- Between the two big beaches, nice beach but stares out at over-the-water cabanas, convenient to food and other services

- South Beach -- The more active beach with sports areas, includes a swim-up bar out in the ocean, little farther from its buffet, farthest from the ship

- Pool -- loud party atmosphere, center of the island -- we don't care for it

Is the funnel cake place included or should we bring cash?and you’re saying it’s right behind the pool? Haven’t been on CocoCay in years. Cannot wait!

Three places to eat on Coco Cay:

- Chill Grill and Skipper's Grill -- large eating areas, food is quite good, a bar is adjacent -- the two are identical except for color scheme

- Snack Shack -- smaller food venues -- I haven't tried them yet

- Captain Jack's -- a bar that also serves chicken wings and fries (nothing else) -- quite expensive, the only place on Coco Cay that charges for food

Wherever you eat, don't leave your food unattended, even for a minute.  Sea gulls have learned where to get a free meal!

Would like to know where is the best, free, place to park ourselves for the day? There will be 6 adults. Any tips for anything that would make our time there fun would be appreciated! What time should we get off the ship, best food area, etc 😊

Here is a link to the map of Perfect Day:

We have been to most of the Beach and prefer South Beach.  Chill Island is the easiest beach to get too and seems to be where most families go, so lots of kids.  South Beach has lots of activities, the floating bar and a Snack Shack.  You can get there by tram or you can walk there, basically straight through the island, just follow the signs and maps.  We typically get off the ship and walk to the Oasis pool.  We like to take a few laps, walking the entire pool and then float for a while until it gets busy.  We then grab our stuff and walk the rest of the way to South Beach.  If you want chairs in the first row, head to South Beach first.  We just want a couple of chairs under a tree and umbrella and find that easily.  We grab lunch and then blow up our pool noodles and go out in the water and just float.  Depending on the tide, you can stand way past the floating bar on a sandbar.  When we are done, we usually walk back to the pool, walk another lap or two around the pool and then head back to the ship.

There are 2 different trams. One from the ship, that seats about 12 people to the tram station on Coco Cay. If anyone in your group has mobility issues, waiting for this tram would be worth it.

The other tram, seats about 40, is to the right when you enter Coco Cay. This tram circles the island. It's first stop is at South Beach. The only food option at South Beach is Snack Shack. Another Snack Shack is located between Oasis Lagoon (pool) and 1 of the beaches, possibly Breezy Bay beach. When you say the sports area with volleyball, pool table played with soccer size balls, that is where Snack Shack is located and Chill Grill, which has a different menu, is nearby too.

That's the one we frequent while sitting by the pool. Not too far to Chill Grill from there either and not a far walk to the swim up bar (I prefer to get my own drinks for some reason).

Does anybody realize that having a private island ensures every dollar spent goes directly into Royal Caribbean's coffers instead of providing income to locals near ports.

I would love spending money in the Bahamas, but in my experience, the locals were not very welcoming. This is the reason I no longer exit the ship in Nassau.
