Remember back when I said Patti requested to Edy that we wanted three sets of towels? Well, since that was so difficult for him to remember that, Patti started disassembling the towel animals for the extra towels. She had a whole pile of towels in the closet by the end of the cruise! 😁

We had a steward that could never understand I needed an extra towel for my hair. I would even leave notes. I did the same with the towel animals. They were missing limbs LOL  The only guy we never tipped.

To be continued…..

Love Paradise Point. Best Bushwackers ever. I'm not a fan of Magen's Bay. When we visited it was dirty and overpopulated. It seemed better when you were there.

This would be a snail. I think Edy was going for a fat sheep with one short ear on that one.

I laughed so hard at this...I'm sorry, it looks nothing like a snail but...

Thank you both for a beautiful review, especially of the Canadian portion. We are headed on a B2B in September. First leg has three ports in Canada. Second leg stops in Halifax again and two days in Bermuda. We have never sailed out of NYC or been to any of these ports. Looking forward to the ship as well.

We were looking at this ship for Nov 2024

Just found this thread, I am on page 10

But we have gone ahead and booked.

Reading Saint John

I was on the liberty which was one of the first ships back after Covid

They were working on the container village then

.

Looking forward to the next 30 pages hihi

Yep, it wasn't crowded at all, probably because we were the only ship in port that day. 😎

Just got through Halifax

If I may add

There is a beautiful public library with an amazing terrace on the top floor.

Went with the grandkids last year, there was a play area, they could have spent the day there.

Also, pier 21 has a museum that is the Canadian 'ellis island '

.

Question

We're there many kids on your sailing ?

I have sailed costa and carnival, wondering how this ship blends the 2

We will be on the Canada leg with you. That will be the second half of a B2B for us. The first half is a seven day cruise to Bermuda. See you on board!

We have been to Halifax many times, and have seen just about everything. Our children loved the play area as well when they were growing up, although the playground equipment there has changed drastically.

There were not many kids at all for our sailing.

We've never sailed Costa. Looking at our pictures, what do you think? :classic_cool:

What I love of costa is the " dual," vacation

I have 21 days on Costa

Love that when I was on the ship, I felt like we were in Italy

Off the ship, the Carribean

It was over 10 years ago

So looking forward to this new booking

Thank you for your review.

If possible, could you answer if the smoke in the casino was horrible or give your opinion. I read some reviews that the smoke from the casino travelled/filled up the air from deck 4-5.

It was pretty smokey but then again it was an Elite casino cruise so the casino was packed. 😎

I love St. Lucia, one of my favorites!  I really thought Valor and Liberty towered above the port area but Venezia looks huge in comparison!  I did see at the beginning that Venezia is very similar to Panorama (Vista & Horizon) and we were just on Panorama but to see the size from that angle - wow!  I love the new St. Lucia sign!  This is one place I'd love to get back to. The southern itinerary out of San Juan was our favorite, the scenery of the islands is just spectacular.  I'm really enjoying following along.

I was on Venezia B2B Sept Canada New England (2nd week @Jamman54 & Patti were on 😊) did not have a large number of kids BUT Canada NE cruises are not really known as the itinerary of choice for kids AND timing is a factor - schools were in session.

As for the smoke - it was terrible. Mid-ship up to 7 was so bad we were looking to see who was smoking in the hall. Cabin Steward said it was always that way and he struggled to breathe (made his asthma worse). Also, the crew member who led the Behind the Fun tour was asked about the smoke - her response was the HVAC system couldn't keep up and wasn't designed for that much smoke. It's one of the few negatives we experienced and mentioned in the LIVE review I did.

The itinerary was great, the ports are beautiful and of course the crew was fabulous!!

Thanks @Jamman54 for letting me weigh in.

Jamman, I was just thinking/remembering: (always dangerous lol) since Venezia does not have a Red Frog did Patti find another bar that makes a Caribbean Colada? Never understood why they could only make it at RFP. It’s the same thing as a pina but with bitters. 🤔😟😚
