How exciting @HolsAddict I keep teasing my other half that we ought to marry on a Princess ship. Did Princess offer you a venue if there is no wedding chapel? I saw mention of the Wake View Terrace maybe?

@dides Indeed, we have been told it will be held on The Wake View Terrace, which we're fine with. We'll be in the Med so it should be lovely.

Some more random wandering pics.

Princess Live looks much better, more like Explorers.

O’Malley’s looks really cool, especially the window booths.

The Gelateria

Crown Grill looks nice.

Casino looks big. Really had to work to find the Poker Pro table. The casino wraps around behind the elevator banks. Sad to report that it already stank of stale smoke.

Thanks a bunch for your pictures. Hate that there is not a bar in the casino!

So my overpacking wife was worried about the closet space, but we’re pleasantly surprised that there’s lots of storage. Plus, there’s a DRAWER in the bathroom finally!

@CanadianBurger .. We cannot say THANK YOU enough! I hope you and your wife enjoy the cruise, have a fantastic time!

We sincerely appreciate your time and efforts in providing us with this insightful information and photos. We all get to enjoy the Sun Princess through you. 😀

We're boarding on March 19, I am looking forward to knowing the ship front to back before I even board, thanks to you!

No!  While this “Live” thread is great, one person’s observations are no substitute for a comprehensive thread. The ship has only been on ONE cruise so far. That’s no basis to shut down the main thread. If you don’t like the content, stop clicking on it!

I started it. It's up to our Host.

Dang. No chicken on the menu. Maybe that will change when she gets to the Caribbean.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Enjoy your cruise. Mine starts in October.

All the machines were free to use on the first cruise, where they installed ad worked  Perhaps we need to find a secret location to stash detergent for when they start charging 😁

I think the balcony railings on all ships are something other than wood.  Wood burns fast in a fire whereas composite and plastic don't.  They probably melt.

I love how the curtain divides the mini.

But the balcony chairs don’t recline. At least there are footstools.

Do you happen to know, or might you be able to ask someone staying in a Cabana Mini-Suite on Deck 9, whether there is a curtian separator between the bed and sofa? The renderings for the cabana mini-suites don't appear to show one, which seems odd given it's a mini-suite. Thanks!

This thread has a quick video of a reserve cabana mini suite.  No curtain.

Correct.

No curtain. The Cabana Mini-Suite is similar in internal size and layout to the Deluxe Balcony Cabins with the addition of the Cabana area.

They don't seem to offer my usual boarding day lunch of salmon on the Reserve menu but the photo looks like you got it anyways.

Accurate???

(But where is the souffle?🥲)

My wife has food allergies, so they made her the salmon.

So here’s something I’m pleasantly surprised with. There is ZERO vibration on this ship. Maybe because it’s the first Princess ship with azipods, but it sure is smooth… I wouldn’t even have noticed we’re at sea.

That lunch menu is pretty much the same one that I encountered in February this year on Regal. That same menu is offered for lunch on sea days and doesn't change; no feature dish that is different. However, it must have happened on a day that I wasn't paying attention...there was a vegetable korma - and I missed it!

Enjoy! @CanadianBurger Is the food quality and presentation about the same as usual?  It looks to be that. Thanks again.

@CanadianBurger Thank you for taking us along on your cruise! I’m loving your photos and videos!

We are in a Reserve Mini-Suite in November and have a couple questions if you are able to answer. Do they have the prime rib cart in the Reserve restaurant at dinner? On the deck plan for your cabin does it indicate “bed by entrance” or “sofa by entrance”?

Enjoy your cruise and thanks again for all your information so far!!!
