The Dome. I must say, it looks far smaller in person than in the photos. I needed the wide-angle lens to get it all in. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some entertainment here. Too bad the skies were so grey.

But the balcony chairs don’t recline. At least there are footstools.

No!  While this “Live” thread is great, one person’s observations are no substitute for a comprehensive thread. The ship has only been on ONE cruise so far. That’s no basis to shut down the main thread. If you don’t like the content, stop clicking on it!

7pm, and we haven’t left Barcelona yet. Captain just came on the PA and said the weather was too bad to bring the LNG barge along side to take on fuel. He said not to worry, we have plenty of fuel. We should be leaving soon.

I’ll insert little anecdotal tidbits when I notice them. The balcony railings are not real wood. While this will cut down on maintenance and varnishing, they do feel cheap. 
 

Thanks…that railing appears to be the same type of composite material as on Discovery…this wood color looks much nicer than Discovery’s white railing.

 

Appreciate taking time from your cruise for a great introduction to Sun Princess.
