So my title pretty much says it. Can someone tell what this is, how does it work, when do they play it and what can you win. Just looking hood a little more information than what we are finding on the Celebrity website.

Thanks in advance for any information you are willing to share.

Just thought I should have said that I am familiar with the Deal or No Deal game show - I just don’t know how it translates to an activity on a cruise ship.🤔

It's pretty much just like on TV, but no models....electronic LED screen with the cases.Very basically you buy the equivalent to a bingo card and if they call your card number [don't quote me!] you get to be the one on stage. Everyone else with a card can win a prize [like a Celebrity pencil with no eraser!] if their card matches the cases or something like that.

The last big winner I saw won...I think it was ... $1!

The prize is cold hard cash. The grand prize is free cruise. I’ve won $10 and $100 the 2 times I’ve done it. A guy won the free cruise on Ascent. There’s a discount in the cruise planner if you pre order the cards, but if you buy onboard a perk of captain club is a free extra card.

Cruise was won both times we played, unfortunately we weren’t the winners but fun anyway.

I know someone that won the free cruise.   It's really a casino comp'ed cruise so you have to pick from their limited list of sailings.  I'm assuming you have to pay taxes/fees and anything you spend onboard like drinks wifi gratuities.   Far from free.

They ended up not taking it as none of the dates worked with their schedule.

Getting called up on stage makes it fun.

I got called up on stage on a Carnival cruise. I was just sitting down trying to figure out how you played as an audience member and saw my name up on the screen.

Could have walked away with $400 but pushed my luck one time to many and ended up with less than $200.  I don't remember the exact amounts now.

I still had a lot of fun,

Agree, being on stage contestant would be fun, otherwise it’s just a $$$ grab.

Every time I either Played DorNoD or just watched the 3rd. person drawn for the "Free Spin" at the end had a 50% chance of winning a "Free Cruise" Until last weeks on Eclipse when DorNoD was run Twice and the 3rd. person that got the "Free Spin" ONLY received a Cash prize as all 8 possible spots for the counter to land on were $25 to $250. No Free Cruise!

The 3rd person in one game got the $25.00.

Because the Spin is Virtual and Not a real mechanical device the Casino could manipulate the stopping point?

By the way the "Free Cruise" is a 7 Day Caribbean cruise of Celebrities choice in an Inside Cabin and You pay he port fees and taxes.

I saw one lady from Australia win it and decided Getting there was not worth taking the "Free Cruise."

I have been selected to be the one to Open the cases 3 times and the most I ever got was $132.00 and the top prize of $1000.00 usually disappears Early in the game.

Better than the bingo on Silversea where the winner gets points to use in buying trinkets at the end of the cruise. Talk about killing the spirit of bingo!

Thanks for the warning! If that's the case I won't be playing Bingo.

I will be on Silversea in a few weeks and I already know it will be One and Done because their Early Dining is 7:30PM and I like to eat at 5:30 or 6pm.

Dinner service on SS starts at 7:00 pm. Room service is 24/7. Plus, you can have free caviar and champagne sent to your room.

Having said that, the bingo still disappoints!

We won a free cruise on the deal or no deal, redeemed for 13 night best of scandinavia cruise. Paid $540 in taxes. Upgraded our room to veranda via moveup for $100 per person.

Not bad for 13 nights...

If you want to look at the cruises on offer just go here https://bluechipcluboffers.com/CertificateOfferCodeLookUp.asp

The code is 24xxDONDXX

Where xx is month, XX is ship name. For example 2405DONDBY

That being said the odds of winning the cruise are so remote - it's a total ripoff.

Essentially, you buy cards, like bingo. Each numbered case is a little pull-tab. A randomly selected card buyer will be called on stage to play the traditional Deal or No Deal game show: pick a case, and then open cases each round before receiving a buyout offer from the “banker” (aka the algorithm).

Everyone not picked to play on stage plays a different game using their cards in the audience.  Let’s say the contestant on stage opens case 16. If the value of case 16 on screen matches the value of case 16 on your card, you get a “match.” The more matches you get in the audience, the larger prize you can win.

Prizes for audience members differ based on cruise line and ship…. I suspect they may be customized based on the amount of sales for the came session, but I’m not positive on this. A few weeks ago on our Carnival sailing the two match prize was a free bingo package at a future session, and three matches was $35 in casino free play.
