I'm confused.  Because Im canadian I only see the prices in CAD on the Princess site.  No option to change that unlike other cruise line web sites.

Where does it show this extra OBC for the new sale.  I haven't seen any on any of the cruises I have checked.  Thanks for any help

It is not on Princess website.

Goggle 3 day Sale & your city to see agency ad for it. It will be in Canadian $ like mine is.

Thanks for the info.  Isn't it weird that the sale doesn't show on the Princess website?  That's usually the first place I go to see sales before the travel agents.

Just to clarify.....  FYI to any who are confused the title "Princess 3 Day Sale".

This is NOT a Princess sale.

It is a sale (maybe collaboration with Princess)  offered annually by one of the BIG online agencies.

Unless there is a 'group discount' rate, then the fares are often what is shown on Princess.

For a Balcony cabin, this Promo offers $30.00 USD per person, per day.  So, on a 10 day cruise, for two guests, that is $600.00.  (less OBC for additional guest in the cabin)

It is being reported that you do NOT have to book with a PLUS or PREMIUM package, so this OBC could be used to get the package when you board.

Also, as usual, there are quite a few different Princess promo codes out there.  I understand that this 3 Day Sale can not be booked with the 3rd/4th passenger free promo.

So, if a family is booking with three or four in the cabin, they would have to pay the 3rd/4th passenger rate to book with this Agencies 3 Day Sale.   The math does not come out well with that one.

I'm just trying to understand what I'm reading on that site.  It looks like for a standard fare on a 7 day cruise, you can get say $50 OBC, plus $20/pp/pd OBC for the 7 days, which would be $280.

That's not a bad deal, and better than I normally get booking with Princess or my own TA.

The only downside is a non refundable deposit?

But it's only good for bookings these three days.  And more often than not you always get a better price when you book as soon as sailings open up for bookings.  I think there has only been one person who has reported that they made out better with this sale. (dog)

280 for a week is a good deal with OBC.  I'm usually between 200 and 250 with the TA I'm currently using.

Wow...just spoke with a TA and I can get similar cabin location at same price but now with $710 OBC!  This is for 10 day Mexican Riviera March 2025.  That will help a lot with the shore excursions! There were a few I liked but were a little pricey. Plus I still have$50 casino,$50 from a loyalty offer (an apology for ignoring my emails from last year) and $100 stockholder....$910 woo hoo.. TA is holding the similar cabin and we'll try to get my original after cancelling my direct booking.   If not I can be happy in the new cabin for the better deal.

The 30 pppd is for a balcony cabin.  It's 20 pppd for an inside or ocean view.

Your situation is the same as ours, all 10 of our current cruises were booked on the day bookings opened and of course are all higher priced now, even our February of 2026 sailings.

We're in the process of going through all five of our upcoming booked trips with our TA during her Sale. The two closest upcoming trips, in July and October, were many thousands more expensive than what we had booked, so no change there. Our Feb 2025 trip only came out about $C200 cheaper with the big OBC factored in so we didn't bother changing that one either as we didn't want to run the risk of our losing our Mini with the huge balcony. Our Nov 2025 and Jan 2026 trips did end up a bit cheaper or the same basis price, but the OBC made a big difference. For the Jan 2026 trip the OBC for a 7 Day trip came to $US235PP. In short, the Sale wasn't as good as in recent years but $US400+ in OBC is well worth it

Yes. I have two standard fares booked now with the full OBC.

Slight correction. We actually got more OBC than promised. $720 for an 11-day and $1,045 for a 16-day.

We would also get more than the $30. pp per day, as the small OBC offered by this agency is also still included.

Again, we would not re-book anything that was booked quite some time ago, at a much cheaper fare.  But, this could be a good deal if somebody is considering a cruise that they have not booked well in advance.

There are quite a few taking the offer I know of.

Not for you. Nor me on my SUN & Star cruises booked months ago.

My Sky cruise at $900 OBC and finding a local TA for this sale hit the jackpot for me.

The TA also contacted and had a chat with me after I booked online. Excellent service and no glitches.

Same here!  I looked to find an Agency TA that was within driving distance.  And I think we lucked out!   We had finally found a pretty good one, but then she was promoted to a management position, and no longer handles bookings.

You were the first to mention it and now others that have followed suit are posting about it.

The bottom line is that if it saves you money in the long run, it's worth it.  Unfortunately all 10 of our cruises between now and February of 2026 were higher priced.

If you want to use a Future Cruise Deposit for this sale, can you do it online. I only see credit card for deposit.  So far it hasn’t asked for my Princess Captain Circle number.

Guess I’ll have to call tomorrow. I’m sure they will be slammed

For our plans, this sale has worked out (at least for now).  We are looking at a Nov 2026 cruise - so it is far off at the end of the posted Princess schedule.  AS this itinerary has just come out, it is reasonably priced.  And then add the $1200 additional OBC and it is a very good deal.  Only thing is the non-refundable deposit.  We are using our FCD's - so that adds more OBC.  Will be fun trying to spend all this credit.

Congrats!

I booked the Enchanted TA-2026-gives us  $900+ $60US OBC, 2coupon books.

BW extended angle balcony midship-same fare as an inside.

Using my aeroplan miles for reward flight. Worth the $270 non refundable deposit.

This deal is not for everyone, I know.

I pulled the trigger and booked a cruise on the Discovery Princess for February 2025. I have been watching prices (on this one and others) for a while now and the price was the same as it has been (no increase). I booked the standard fare and got $260 OBC that I will apply to the purchase of the Plus package when I get on board. I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Thanks to whoever it was about being able to book the standard fare and still get the OBC. That made all the difference in being an OK deal to a good deal for me.

Yes, same cruise for us (23 day Enchanted TA Nov 2026).  This sale works for cruises far out on the timeline but not so good for our 2025 cruise plans, but I am satisfied with those deals already.

Cabin wise, we will be close to you as we also got the same BW mid-ship with the extra sized balcony.  We always go for these cabins on Royal class ships.

Mine is March 2026 to Rome.  I like the spring weather at that time. Did the HAL to Rome last year in March.

I agree the additional OBC is nice but 2026 is a long way out. A lot of things can happen between now and 2026 to put your NRD at risk. You also cannot cancel and rebook if the price comes down without losing your NRD. That said, if you are comfortable with the gamble, go for it. I thought about the pros and cons and decided to pass.

Yes, agree.

I’m quite sure the $100 pp deposit for a $1280 CAD pp 14 day TA cruise in a balcony cabin is a good deal for me. With the $960 US OBC we can pay CA, wifi, etc.

I would not risk the deposit for much higher a fare, so far off.

By the way Princess cancelled my Star 2025 cruise, told me I will get my FCD back and I’m still waiting- so seems I’m taking a risk with booking directly and getting no OBC,

We booked an Ocean view for a July 2025 sailing to Alaska.  There are 4 of us.  First time booking with an agent and with Princess.  The cruise fare seemed to be the same before and during the sale.  I've seen a post about not getting 3rd/4th passenger free under the 3 day sale.  3rd/4th must not have been free for this sailing before the sale as the pricing didn't change.

The OBC conversation was confusing.  At the agency during booking I was quoted $680USD total OBC.  Then when I looked at my papers it stated $370USD OBC.  So I emailed and was later advised that I am receiving $610USD OBC plus 2 coupon books.  I can't make the math work with what has been posted.

Did you see the offer $30 pp/ day?

That is what I got for a BW and a BD category.

Look in the cruise personalizer go to payments and scroll down to a box showing break down of OBC.

3&4 th May get less then $30 pp per day.
