Richard Spacey is wonderful, much better than Alexander IMHO. Hope he still there in three months...

He looks great! That routine is slightly familiar though, we did a very port intensive cruise in 2012 with lots of private tours and didn't see much entertainment, wonder if he was CD or was he with RCCL then? :)

When the "Spaceman" was on board Eclipse in January we thought at first that he was quite funny with his backstage impersonations prior to the show starting. But as the message continued every day but with different impersonations, the message became tedious. His only additional "act" when he introduced the evening show was to show off his special socks for the day. Beyond that he ignored passengers and walked down the hallways as if no one else existed.

 

He is OK but for us there are many other nicer and more talented cruise directors.... we all have our favorite ships and staff.

He moved to a desk job with Celebrity in January 2014 and six months later he went back to a ship. He loves the stage, its just his personality. :)
