I love the new Retreat.  It isn’t very handicap friendly.  It’s hard to open the gate if you are in a scooter.

Very little foot traffic so very quiet - plus there is another door blocking off 7307 and 7308.  There is no overhang on the balcony so it's all sun all the time, the only thing I didn't love about it.

We loved this cabin.

We used the "Move Up" feature for the first time and are are so happy we did.

We have had verandas before, but the size of this veranda is three times what we have had before.

More important was our location.  We could practically reach out and touch everything we wanted. LOL

Despite the closeness of the elevators, there was no noise at all.

We did have a very low passenger load (under 800), so I am unaware of how the noise level would be with a full ship.

DATE OF CRUISE AND "REVOLUTION" COMMENTS

The ship has not gone through the "Revolution" procedure yet, but the ship was immaculate.

I see so much information on the Reflection (we were just on her), Equinox, and Silhoutte but nothing about the Eclipse? What is wrong with this ship and Capt. Leo? Seems to be the runt of the ships? We sale on her shortly and are we to be disappointed compared to the Reflection?

We loved Eclipse and Captain Leo is one of our favorites! He's everywhere, super friendly and hysterical when doing Liars club! Eclipse was out of service for quite a while during the pandemic but is a wonderful ship.

This was a great cabin.  There was NO pole inside the cabin. The walk from elevators was not as

bad as expected.  No menus on TV.  The main problem we had with this cabin was the noise at night

the first 7/8 days during the Atlantic crossing.  When the ship is at a high speed the creaks and bangs

are very loud (like thunder) and it is nearly impossible to sleep.  No noise from from hall, other cabins or

above.  When we got to the Med. Sea it was dead quiet at night so this would not be a problem on many

cruises.  No problem for us but balcony is open and in full sun except early in the morning and this

made the room warm in afternoon unless curtains shut when you are out.  Balcony view was very beautiful.
