Excellent room – no noise except rare television next door. Far enough aft that view forward not blocked by the bump. Overhang from suites on 12 doesn’t block view, but does provide shade. No smell of cigarette smoke from portside smoking areas. Aft location convenient to stairs/elevator to OVC, pool deck, Blu.

BED NEAR
(Bath, Balcony, Window, N/A)

Bed is closer to the balcony, but there is plenty of room between the bed and the

balcony door. There is a pole located close to one side of the bed.

QUIET? (Yes/No/Usually)

Yes (but we had a considerate neighbor)

BALCONY VIEW (Good, Great, Obstructed?)

Window washing equipment is located on port side of balcony. it was only an

annoyance to us when we were trying to take photos on that side.

BALCONY SIZE
(Standard, Oversized, Other)

Large. Plenty of room for two reclining chairs with footstools and a table. The chairs

are a bit low for the table, but it is possible to dine on the balcony.

WIND A PROBLEM?
(Yes/No/Sometimes)

No

SOOT A PROBLEM?
(Yes/No/Sometimes)

Sometimes

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS (Explain all Noise (including crew door issues), Wind and Soot Problems here, plus all comments and information regarding things like connecting or accessible cabins)

The corner aft S1 and the adjacent S2 doors are contained within an alcove having a

door to the corridor. When that door is closed, there is no noise from the corridor.

We experienced no crew door noise. The only problem we experienced occurred on

the final sea day, when we encountered high winds and choppy seas. For

approximately 12 hours, deck 11 aft had pronounced diesel fumes, which made

the corridor and our suite quite unpleasant.

Standard cabin. Cozy but totally adequate. We found storage to be ample both in the cabin and the bathroom. Like the curved door shower and excellent Hansgrohe shower head. We had noisy people on both sides when they were on their balcony. Nothing you can do about that; it was unusual.

Enjoyed this location.  Just a few cabins forward of the elevators. Easy access to the solarium, gym, and Sky lounge. Liked the configuration of the stateroom. Walk to dining was not bad.

TERRIBLE CABIN. The pool and outside deck directly above. The bass of the music clearly heard inside cabin. Worse yet, was the scraping of lounge chairs at all hours. At 3:30 am, 5:00 am, 6:30 am as staff moved chairs around by dragging them. As well, an a/c vent was directly above the balcony. This vent leaked condensation (but with an oily feel to it) constantly, onto the balcony chairs as well as the balcony floor. Reported to Guest Services Manager, who said she would speak to Engineering. It never happened. Additionally, the vent was covered in a black like substance similar to black mould. We have always cruised Aqua, but never have had these issues. The rooms adjacent (1602 and 1604) also had these vents, but I could not see if they were leaking. Will NEVER stay in this room again! (Thank you to our cabin steward, Arvin for attempting to keep the floor and chairs dry and clean. Unfortunately, a fruitless effort)

Peeling paint on balcony - work was being done during port days.  Easy access to gym, Persian Garden/spa, Aqua Spa. Cafe and Ocean View Cafe.  Would book again as it is convenient and quiet location.  However, rocking was felt on a number of days so not a good spot for those prone to seasickness.

No issues except do not open the cabin door while the balcony door is open or you will experience a wind tunnel. The suite includes a dining table with seating for 6, a full size living room with couch, loveseat and oversized chair. There is a full length wet bar with plenty of glassware and tons of closet storage throughout. The bedroom has an ocean view with balcony access from the living room only. The bathroom features a large shower, separate bathtub and double sinks with plenty of storage as well. Excellent cabin!

Deck -

Cabin # - 1112

Class – Celebrity Suite

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – N/A

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Very Quiet

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions whatsoever (which is what you would expect) but my balcony was not on the "X" which means glass was clear.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for class (spacious)

Was wind a problem? No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? Creaky a bit when the ship was being tossed about.

Any other comments? A lovely suite --highly recommended. Convenient location (close to elevators -right across hall to library), felt very private, was quiet. Spacious -- nice "L" shaped sofa in living area - plenty of room to stretch out. Comfortable deck furniture.

Must be common ocurrence.  On our Silhouette 2018 eastbound TA we were being tossed about one night and talk about creaky!  We were all talking about the creaking at dinner the next night!

Excellent room – no noise

To my knowledge, the balcony and windows were washed x2.

Not sure if this is COVID related.

True aft/stern cabins are generally quiet as there is very little foot traffic.  1667 is no exception to that.  Unlike the suites on Deck 12, this cabin has very little overhang on the balcony, so you do get a lot of sun.
