I hit the jackpot ($1,000) three times in a week on the same machine on the Crown. Played it a lot though! Still came out way ahead and had a blast doing it. This past cruise on the CB, couldn't get one single machine to let me play for 5 minutes much less win anything. Didn't see anyone else winning anything either.

I won the mileage pool one day on the old Island -- can't recall how much I won, maybe about $100?, but I do remember being jokingly accused of insider knowledge since the ship's third officer (the navigator) dined at our table. But I swear, it was a legitimate win!

 

Oh, and I won $25 playing a slot machine on my last night on the Dawn last March, but it doesn't count since the original stake put into the machine wasn't my money but my friend's -- naturally, I gave the winnings to him.

Well, lets see? On our first cruise we won a pair of emerald ear rings, that was in the days when the port talks were fun and the after talks more fun:

 

I won a cool painting in a raffle from Park West on NCL about 7 years ago.

 

I have won as much as $150 in a casino in one night (but never did it make up for the money I had lost or lost afterward)

 

I won a spa treatment on NCL Spirit a couple of months ago..

 

But actually our favorite winning, a stupid (2 of them) leather book marks, each worth about 10 cents I am sure.

I hit the same Wheel of Fortune machine 6 times for $200 each time....all in the same night within a couple of hours. Yes, I think it was broken but I did not complain to anyone.

Seriously, I came out over 1000 to the good.

Another guy got on it when I went to the bathroom and when I came back, he hit it for 500 but played all of it back without cashing out. It took a while but he never hit it for more than 50 so I left it alone after that.

That was on the RCCL Jewel of the Seas.

A gold plastic ship trophy when I won the Name that Tune contest on the Carnival Victory in 2005!!!!

 

Have also won keychains and medalions from RCCL for ping pong tourney (DH 2nd place) and shuffleboard tourney (1st place) :D

I was a winner of about $650 on the horse races. See they had these wooden stick ponies that you bought in an auction ($40??). You decorated them, a few days later out by the pool they had prelims. and a final race. People paid to get in on the winnings, side bets, wagers, etc. Then they would roll dice, and advance these wooden horse down some carpetand I won on the roll of the dice! Sure helped pay that $900 ship account.:D

In one cruise we won three paintings at the Princess art auctions. Along with the paintings we had purchased, I told my wife "I guess we're redecorating our house!" ;) I checked online and the same signed, limited edition paintings ran about $250 each from the site for the artists in France.:D

I won on the Princess Millionaire. I guessed nine in a row but quit at the last prize which was a painting. My prizes included a Princess tote, a rubber dolphin, a drink of the day, dinner at Sabatino's( which I couldn't use because I won it the last night of the cruise at 6:30 pm), a bottle of champagne, a key ring from the casino, the artist's drawing of the ship, a mug and my favorite which was a metal replica of the ship which had been given out to crew members only for Christmas.

 

I also won $1600 in a 5 cent slot machine(but put it all back plus)

 

I won $2700 in a bingo game in which we voted to give the first bingo 75% and 2nd bingo 25%. After I called bingo the next number resulted in two winners who shared the remaining $900.

 

Unfortunately I would say I am more unlucky than lucky. I seldom get upgrades and I tend to make deposits rather than withdrawals in the casino.

On our last cruise I won a free body fat analysis at the spa. Since I'm "undertall" for my weight, it was the last thing I wanted to win. :eek: The spa folks wouldn't let me trade it for something I'd actually use, so I gave it away to someone else leaving the drawing.

Hi Folks,

 

On our last cruise the casino was very good to me,

 

walked past a dollar machine put in one dollar and 60 came out,

 

played the 25c machines had three in a row all spitting out coins,

 

not big pay outs but looked great,

 

on one of the machines hit jackpot another nighr but as it had been won the week before only got a few hundred dollars if I had got 2nd prize I would have got thousands,

 

after that started playing roulete never played before played around 10 times won ever time not a lot because I would not risk much but 100 a day winningswas great,

 

up shot was after 14 days I came home with about $20 more than I started my cruise with so was very happy over all,

 

more important I had lots of fun.

 

Well it was about time last cruise I got almost nothing
