My condolences to you and your family. So many wonderful memories you must have of your travels together. -
On the Summit there is a bar in the Retreat Lounge. On the Retreat Sundeck, there is staff who will happily bring you drinks. There is also a light lunch menu. We really enjoyed the Retreat Sundeck!

Welcome to Southern California. We've never sailed out of California on Celebrity but we'd love to take a Pacific Coastal cruise someday. Maybe a Mexican Riviera if the price is right. The first Celebrity ship we sailed on was the Solstice to Alaska. Looking forward to your live report. -
There are loungers on deck 11 near the Sky Lounge. Fairly quiet, sun on one side or the other, near the Mast Bar, and bathrooms nearby.

Bon Voyage! We really enjoyed the Sunset Bar on the Beyond. -
Best place for sail away? Sunset Bar. We had held off on Le Petit Chef because of the reviews I had read here. We decided to try it on our Summit Boston - Canada cruise last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun, the dinner was delicious, and the staff was wonderful. We chose the menu with the ravioli and the filet mignon because it had the most items that we would not need/want to substitute. I would recommend reading through the menus and choose a night with a menu that you would enjoy.

We had plenty of headphones tonight. It is a lot of fun!

I can share what our October 3rd boarding was like for us: bad. We had a 10:00 am check-in time and didn’t board until after 11:30. No explanation, crowded together with several hundred others that were supposed to board at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00. At least we had chairs and were inside. Once onboard, things were fine.

We’re on the current cruise. Fabulous colors in Quebec City (Montmorency Falls). Good colors today in Sydney (we hiked up the Coxheath Trail at Blacketts Lake) in spite of the hurricane. Some fall colors in Halifax, Bar Harbor, and Portland. We have fall colors photos from all of our ports and have enjoyed beautiful, crisp fall weather with jackets, gloves, and hats. Maine also has a fall colors web page.https://www.maine.gov/dacf/mfs/projects/fall_foliage/index.shtml You can sign up for updated

We had a great tour with Paul at Halifax Titanic Historical Tours yesterday. He squeezed as much as he could of his 6-hour tour into our very short (10:30 am - 4:00 pm) port day. Very professional and highly organized, informative private, small group tour. https://halifaxtitanictours.ca/
