  1. I made the lists myself using photos that I've taken, photos posted by others, and reviews from others. Stateroom numbers vary slightly for the BA Plus class but the physical configurations and sizes are the same for the aft-facing staterooms when it comes to Escape/Joy/Bliss/Encore. I don't always have the lists with me so sometimes I'm going by memory. If anything is wrong, I make corrections. 😉
  2. The mattress for the pullman can be placed on the floor at night for the 3 year-old. The mattress can then be put back and folded up during the day.
  3. As noted above, there are 2 pools that are close to each other as well as a splash area. The "all ages" pool and the play area. The teens will be fine in this pool. The little ones will be in the "climb & slide" area. The tiny ones (no diapers allowed) will be in this area. The adults will be in this area. (photo credit to JimZim/Spaniel Lover)
  4. 14282 - bed near balcony 14284 - bed near balcony 14286 - bed near closet
  5. I have. There were some weird "pending" amounts that didn't correspond with any purchases but in the end, there was only 1 charge for the exact amount. I kept a running total for everything purchased onboard and since the credit card registered onboard had a zero balance before the cruise, I know that everything is correct....for now. 😊
  6. I'm not 100% sure but I believe that this is deck 15 (Escape)... ...and if it is, the depth and configuration would match Joy 15272 (most narrow deck 15 aft-facing balcony). 15270 would be bed near balcony. Between those 2, I would take 15270 because of the bed location and balcony width.
  7. As long as it is not aft-facing deck 13, I would call the difference significant. I used Escape but Escape/Joy/Bliss/Encore are the same sizes for balcony depth/width (slightly different stateroom numbers, though). ^^ Deck 9 (deepest) ^^ Deck 13 (least deep) Everything else is between those 2 extremes for depth.
  8. Long story short...... I had a couple of cruises booked and paid for before the pandemic caused MSC to cancel both cruises. I took the option of FCC which was 125% of the cruise fare. The taxes and deposit were refunded to the original form of payment. I decided to use the larger FCC on a 2022 cruise on Seashore. With prices going up and down, I jumped on a low price and put down a deposit. After my cruise became eligible for the 5% + 15% discount, the total due was less than the amount of FCC. Since the entire FCC can only be applied to 1 cruise and I didn't want a larger/more expensive stateroom, I had a negative balance (they owed me) after making final payment when I applied the FCC. Some people in a similar situation were told that the overpayment would be returned after the cruise. Some people in a similar situation were told that the overpayment would be converted to OBC. Some people in a similar situation were told that the overpayment would just disappear and would never be seen again. In my case, the overpayment amount was deposited to my bank account on the 2nd day of the cruise. My cruise on Seashore (2022) was less "out of pocket" than I would have paid for the cancelled cruise on Seaside (2020) even though the staterooms were practically identical (exact same itinerary). Many complain when MSC gets things wrong so it's only fair to post when MSC gets things right. ☺️
  9. The corner aft-facing staterooms are Haven suites. If you're asking about the aft-facing B1s, the only stateroom configurations are bed near balcony and bed near closet. Balcony depth differs by deck. The size order from deepest to least deep is 9, 12, 15, 14, 11, 10, 13. There are also differences in balcony width. The most narrow on each deck other than deck 10 is the balcony directly to the port side of the wheelchair accessible B1. Deck 10 is different as it has 2 wheelchair accessible Club Balcony staterooms instead of 1 wheelchair accessible B1. In that case, the port side M6 has the more narrow balcony. Feel free to ask any questions.
  10. MSC is a bit too inconsistent when it comes to amenities to make an accurate list. Things differ from ship to ship, itinerary to itinerary, butler to butler, YC director to YC director, etc.
  11. The "1 adults-only hot tub, 1 all ages hot tub" is more of a theory than a rule. 😉 Although the following video has a few errors (ignore the popup @ 1:14), the areas before 3:20 are all ages... ...and the areas after 3:20 are 16 and older only. (not Breakaway but the sign is the same)

  13. https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Breakaway_Deck_11_3-10-21.png For your stateroom type (purple BB), see if you can switch to a stateroom with the "" symbol. It sleeps 4 and has the bed near the balcony. The cost should be the same if you stay on deck 11 and don't change your category. If his side of the bed isn't near the balcony, sleep facing the opposite direction (feet near the headboard).
  14. At the moment, it doesn't seem that they do. Things are a bit more disorganized than usual. MSC's current POM terminal is basically a borrowed space and will remain a bit of a mess until the new terminal is completed. I didn't see any special lines other than Yacht Club the last time that I sailed but things could change at any time.
  15. Seaview is mostly similar to Seaside. Much of the info carries over.
  16. I'm waiting until a World Class ship sails out of Florida. I'll have all of the deck plan errors worked out by then.
  17. ...and that's why the cabanas have been replaced by pergolas.😒
  18. Yes. There is an adult-only pool that is forward from the all ages pool. The adult-only pool probably won't be anything close to quiet. You might be better off buying access to the adult-only spa which has a Thalasso pool. In addition to being much smaller than the Oasis Class ships, Breakaway has fewer quiet adult-only areas unless you are sailing in the Haven...and even then, it might not be quiet since most of the Haven isn't adult-only. There are quiet areas on Breakaway such as the Waterfront but there is no pool or hot-tub there nor is it adult-only. I can't really recommend Breakaway based on your criteria but if you decide to go, I recommend getting a Spa pass.
  19. When you use your card to enter, your name and picture pops up on the concierge's screen.
  20. On Seashore, both the Royal Suites and the Owner's Suites have a hot tub on the balcony. The one in the RS is actually larger than the one on the OS balcony....larger balcony, too. The OS stateroom is larger with much better views, though.
  21. Yacht Club guests (including Royal Suite and Owner's Suite) feel the same way. We also drive down from Central Florida. We usually stop for food when we switch from I-95 to the Florida Turnpike. Thanks for the review. Any photos?
