  1. Take a quick look in the FAQ section: https://www.carnival.com/help
  2. LOL...why are you talking to yourself?
  3. Welcome to CC. Recommend you peruse the Ports of Call forums for Greece and Italy. Lots of great info available. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/463-greece-ports/ https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/464-italy-ports/ https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/149-other-mediterranean-ports/
  4. Recommend you also ask on the DR forum. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/280-dominican-republic/

  6. In all my years with NCL I've never once heard of anyone mentioning "Play". I wouldn't worry about it.
  7. I had to look them up. Icelandic based with a small fleet of planes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Play_(airline)
  8. That's an easy Google search. "Average temperatures (port name) May"
  9. Why put the employees in a possibly embarrassing situation? They know what you are doing, it isn't their first rodeo. You know the terms and conditions of your perks, act accordingly. Buy the other folks a package, it's not that expensive.
  10. 17 is considered an unlucky number in Italy because - when written in Roman numerals - XVII is an anagram of VIXI which in Latin translates as 'I have lived' - implying death.
  11. If you are talking about NCLH I show it going up.
  12. Depends on which cruise line you are asking about. Click on "Forums" at the top left of this page, scroll down and you'll find the list of cruise line forums. Recommend you ask there.
  13. Mostly pop up showers that last 30 minutes or less but obviously you can have long bouts of rain. Be prepared.
  14. NCL does have diapers available on board.
  15. No. NCL held up their part of the deal. Your friend left of their own accord. NCL owes them nothing.
  16. This is an excerpt from the CCL FAQ on required documentation: Traveling with Minors When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original, signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.
  17. Seems like that could either work out very well or be very disappointing if the other folks are trying to escape for alone time. 😉
  18. That's a prime example of how traumatic cruising can be sometimes. Hang in there.
  19. Sales people getting commissions? Crazy world I tell ya.
  20. Welcome to CC. Here's a good forum for family cruising tips: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/28-family-cruises/
