  1. Getting distilled water is no big deal. I ask for it and an extension cord pre-cruise by filling out the pre-cruise special needs form. If it isn't in the cabin when we arrive, a simple request from the cabin steward and it is there after dinner, no problem.
  2. Where's the best place to get Red Bull
  3. 74.99 on Icon Nov 30th sailing. I already have a beach bed on Chill island. Can't see spending more just to avoid kids.
  4. I always bring my home baked snickerdoodle from home to give in lieu of tips... J/k... 🤪
  5. It sounds like you have a great plan... Once you get bitten by the cruising bug, as many can attest on this board, you will sail for many years to come. 🙂
  6. @Thoenix, I'm just wondering since I'm not familiar with the needs of Autistic folks... Is crowds an issue? If so I might change my recommendation from Adventure to Vision. I suspect Vision would not be a as crowded.
  7. The sailings out of Cape Liberty look like a decent deal. I wish had the time.
  8. We book in D4 balcony Oct 31 2022 when the itineraries were first released for a Nov 30 2024 sailing. We got it for $2784. A D4 balcony with this new release for exactly one year later (Nov 29 2025) is $5680 Unbelievable! I'm glad we got in when we did.
  9. Our cabin attendant offered to carry our bags up the stairs.
  10. This was something I forgot about. Having two doing twice a day service was a great perk.
  11. Sorry I should have been more specific. I was wondering about which ships were going to be sailing. Do we think it'll be Brilliance and Radiance out of Vancouver and Quantum and Ovation out of Seattle or is there any thought of that changing?
  12. I've followed this thread from the beginning but couldn't remember if we had any indication about Alaska for summer 2025 yet?
  13. Just because you start threads doesn't mean you get to close them. The discussion is still ongoing.
  14. I'd choose Adventure. Much more interesting ports for just getting off the ship and wondering around. Labadee, Cococay and Puerto Plata trump the convenience of easier port. However, 8 nights instead of 6 is a really big temptation too. I don't think either decision will be a bad one. I've been been on Adventure or her sisters quite a few times and love that ship. I'd lean towards Adventure but the travel convenience of a Baltimore departure is hard for me to weigh.
  15. Sorry, I misunderstood your post. At $800 it's a push for me. We loved our CLS on Oasis and would love to do one again I haven't had a GS on an Oasis class so I'd be scouring Youtube videos and asking here for opinions LOL.
  16. I quickly went and looked... Nope, not for me. I'll be booking something for the end of November/early Dec 2025. but I'll be waiting until the full release of itineraries. I'm thinking Oasis class but probably whatever is cheapest in that date range and maybe another Alaska in late August or early Sept. They definitely believe they are going to get a premium for Icon. We'll have already been on it so the new novelty will be worn off us.
  17. Not at that price. A GS is a nice cabin and comes with all the same perks as CLS. You are getting only few extra sq ft for that $1500. Not even close to being worth it.
  18. That seems like a pretty minimal obstruction and that large balcony looks really nice.
  19. Perfect, I’m thinking of the Chops +1 as well as a dinner I have compliments of everyone’s favorite TA. Also, I never thought about it but the doing a repeat with our Main Dining crew if they good is good thinking. That never occurred to me.
  20. Question for those with experience on B2B's. If we have any sort of dining package can we get that booked on the first half of the B2B so we don't have to mess with it on changeover day?
  21. Is the granddaughter the child of the daughter and husband in room 1? If so then nothing else required for the granddaughter. If not you need a notarized form available on Royals website giving permission to travel with a minor not your child. You wife marital status should not matter as long as you are reserved in the name that is on her passport. If you've reserved in her new married name but she is trying to travel on the old name in a passport she will have trouble at embarkation. I'd get the name on the res. changed to match the passport name.
