So glad you are enjoying your cruise. We look forward to your impressions of beautiful Hawaii. So sorry your halibut was drowning in tomato sauce which wouldn't have pleased me either. -

No Bermuda!! Celebrity Silhouette 20/10/22 Southampton to Miami
TeaBag replied to philsuarez's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Yes, most of us have known for a while. We did get notification but even if we hadn't, like you, we would have found out by participating in the roll call. -
Wait times for seating at Blu, is this normal?
TeaBag replied to keifernny's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I think it's time they made Blu for AQ people only. -

Skagway is a lovely little town. Thank you for taking me back there today. Did you find a quilting project for your Mom? If you have time when you return to Vancouver and you go to Granville Island Market, there's a quilting store near there called The Cloth Shop that you might enjoy looking through. Also you'd be paying in CDN dollars! The currency is dropping so fast these days, we're expecting to hear a big thump! -
It's not just on E class. This is offered on our upcoming Silhouette TA as "Inside Access----Behind the Scenes tour" It is $139.99 as you said, Jelaine, but hey, we're lucky to be offered 10% off....$124.99. We've seen most of the tour for free in our various sailings. I would definitely get them to refund the charge since it was not evident there was a charge.

Yes, I guess they've dropped me..........

Celebrity cancels Bermuda stops due to excessive testing
TeaBag replied to BermudaBound2014's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We are happy that Bermuda was dropped on the Silhouette TA also. I think they are trying to get back some income from the past 2 years (you can't blame them) but to ask people to pay $40 application fee when they were not planning on getting off the ship was a bit greedy in my mind. The testing required two days before disembarking in Bermuda was a bit much also, considering we all have to be tested before boarding in Southampton. A nightmare for Celebrity. In the past we have loved our stops in Bermuda but Lisbon will be a nice change this time. -
Could someone please post the link for this new webinar. I did not get the email although I have gotten them in the past. I HATE it when Celebrity does half a job and doesn't send the email to all.

Another time it is not silent is when some moron specifies the place for the dance right above your cabin and it starts at 11PM right when you'd like to sleep. Sounds like a herd of elephants on speed, above you. No possibility of sleeping. We complained to GR but what could they do when it was already in progress?

You lucky diners having Gambas al Ajillo. I wish we were still on Quest.

I got my point too. They also fixed my account page so I can again access it. Thank you Celebrity.

Blu is not open for lunch any day. We used to go to the Spa cafe on embarkation day, but I'm not sure if this has continued. I'll see in 5 weeks.

Is there any way this fan could fit in your carry on luggage so you could take it out and show it to the person checking the bags to assure them it's just a fan? That would save your checked luggage from going to the naughty room.

Norwaylady goes b2b Alaska+Hawaii on Eclipse
TeaBag replied to Norwaylady's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Your review is great and your English is superb. I will enjoy following along. So sorry for the smoke. We had the worst air quality in the whole world yesterday. We always like to get a window table in Blu so we line up before the doors open! I think there are only 5 or 6 and they go fast. Like Abbydancer, I also recommend Made. He was our waiter on the 2020 South America cruise and when we cruised to Hawaii earlier this year on the first Eclipse cruise since the shutdown, he recognized us. He does a great job. His section was at the banquette, (back of the room) but he may have changed, if he's still on board. We were in Oslo last month and loved our Norwegian cruise. -
So glad we were on the July 25 Norway intensive if the new prices are eye watering! I was disappointed by the exclusion of Flam and Geirainger, both of which were on the cancelled Celebrity Silhouette Aug 2021. We paid over $1100 USD for the 2 tours to those places. Didn't think the Flam excursion was worth it but Geirainer was lovely.

I think it is a good decision to give Celebrity another chance. I would try another ship, even if you have to fly to the embarking port. We always enjoy Blu.

I agree with telling those who are looking for a lounge chair that they have been unoccupied for hours and to go ask the pool attendant to remove their things. I do like PTC DAWG's solution though🤣.

vancouver to Honolulu is very easy for us but I would still recommend the Panama Canal transit. East to west will give you a few 25 hour days.

Well at least there would not be any noise coming from the morgue! Spif, the OP is asking the question because the space above 8077 is white. As others have answered his reasonable question, it could be something to do with crew/housekeeping.

"Upgraded" to a lower cabin class...7204 on Millennium
TeaBag replied to Mountaineer0313's topic in Celebrity Cruises
If you like wine with your dinner, you could bring your favorite on board (2 bottles allowed), order room service and enjoy your dinner in your lovely aft cabin while watching the wake. Your DH is going to love you for the great surprise. Enjoy your cruise.
