I just found out my cruise later in the year has a very large group on it. Our deposits were nonrefundable and it's hard to change weeks now because of work. How horrible is it when you dread taking your vacation!!

How do you book dining on the website? When I go to that page it tells me it's now moved to the app and I have to do it there.

I was on Sunshine last Oct and the guy leading it said no teams either. My cruise buddy and I did it together because we knew we weren't going to win anyway.

I agree with what everyone else has said. I'm in my '50s and went during the week and it was not rowdy at all. Just make sure you go when the kids are in school and it should be fairly quiet.

Does anyone have a copy of the kids menu?

We had a 12:30 arrival and were parked far, far away. We were able to walk it though with our roller bags. On the return, we didn't want to wait in the long line for the shuttle so we walked. You don't walk through the parking lot, you walk around it on the street. It took maybe 10 minutes and wasn't hard, but not sure I'd do it again. The 12:30 arrival time was great. The lines moved fast, probably no more than a 5 minute wait. We were on the ship, did muster and were in our cabin at 1:30 when they opened them up.

Slightly off topic, but we don't care about eating at the same table with the same waitstaff each night. We've been cruising Carnival lately and they have an option on their app to sign in when you're ready to eat and the app alerts you when your table is ready and you have 10 minutes to get there. Does Princess have something like this or do I have to set a specific time each night?

Yep, same with me. Saw a $400pp price decrease for my cruise and called. After almost an hour on hold with an agent who I could barely understand, he said he can't find the fare. Guess it was a fluke!

I called and they called me back. He put me on hold several times before telling me what the deposit was. I was able to wipe out the amount in the full payment box and just put the $200 he told me and it went through.

I held a cruise and am now trying to make a deposit. The payment page only gives me an option to pay in full. How do I do just a deposit and how do I know how much the deposit is?

I purchased the Plus package so I'll have wifi for the first time. I only use my home wifi on my phone for security reasons. I do have Norton antivirus on it with a VPN option. Will the VPN work with the Princess wifi? I would only be using my phone to check my email. I'd use my tablet for other things like streaming shows and don't mind public wifi for that.

I have been in a mini suite on Royal and the 2 rooms were able to be separated by a curtain. That was nice when one wanted to watch TV in the sitting area and not disturb the one sleeping. I will now be in a mini suite on the Caribbean Princess and from videos it doesn't look like there is a curtain. Can anyone verify this? Also, are there any hacks to separating the 2 spaces?

Looking at booking the Caribbean Princess and saw the new Plus fares. It says 2 premium desserts. What are these? Does anyone have any photos? It also says it includes juices. Wouldn't this be part of the drink package anyway or are these some new specialty juices? Also, verifiying the drink package is still able to be used on Princess Cays and also to have drinks delivered to your cabin.

Is this something new? When we did it we just signed up on embarcation day. Didn't need to buy anything in advance.

I did it back in 2019. My mom just turned Elite so we tried it. Didn't get a lot of food.

We were excited about window seats on our last cruise until we realized it's dark and you can't see anything anyway.

I didn't have to jump through any hoops when I got mine. It was my normal license renewal back in 2016. I didn't fill in any extra paperwork or have to bring any additional documents. So when my mother, who lives in PA, said she had to take all kinds of things in to get it done, I was shocked. I did nothing but renew my license as I always have. I guess GA doesn't care.

Yes. I was on the Radiance earlier this month and my mother had it for lunch after we got on. It's at the back of the ship on deck 10. Not real easy to find.

I have never had issues with privacy. Until my first cruise on Princess where they had our names on paper tags outside the door. No one needs to know there is a single woman or 2 women in the room for safety reasons. Instead of Ms. Susan Jones why can't it read S. Jones? I would feel a lot more comfortable. For some reason this really bothers me yet I have no other privacy concerns in daily life. After our first cruise my mother pulled the paper nametag out and gave it to me for a souvenir since I complained about it so much!

I was in a suite prior to covid and bought it because we wanted to get in our cabin early to drop bags. Early access wasn't a benefit of having a suite. (after paying all that money for the suite!)

Went on the Radiance last week. At embarkation lunch I'm in the buffet with my big plate ready for the Funfetti cheesecake and.....nothing. They didn't have it. The lady behind the cake counter didn't say why. I was heartbroken. Had it for the first time ever in Oct and couldn't wait to have it again.

Worked perfectly on the Sunshine in Oct. I was very impressed. On the Radiance last week, not so much. The first night for dinner the gray button to reserve wasn't highlighted. Finally gave up and just went to the dining room. Everyone was having issues. Someone from Carnival said the system was down. Next morning everything was back to normal for the rest of the cruise. I guess they just get glitches sometimes. But when it works-it's fantastic!

I was skeptical when I first read this because I assumed nothing would be enforced. I was wrong. I just got off Radiance last Friday. One day while out by the pool DJ Scratchy (love the name!) was DJ'ing and everyone was dancing. Right in the middle of the song he turns off the music and looks to his right and says "someone over there is smoking. I can smell it. Security will be called. There is a $500 fine". Then he turned the music back up. I was shocked. Didn't hear or see anything else so I guess the person stopped. Or left.
