Check my signature. But I think it is SOP for most cruise lines to collect final payment about 90 days out from sailing. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
A couple of months ago, it was a nightmare for my TA, but he seems to have made my recent booking with no problems. I just told him the category and position on the deck I was looking for and he came up with a quote and a cabin I was happy with.
I just booked an August 2025 cruise on a competing small ship line, because of the attractive itinerary. Final payment is due in April of that year. No way I would make final payment as far in advance as V would likely demand for a similar cruise.
I wouldn’t be surprised if your loyalty points show up as correct once onboard. Fingers crossed for you that it will be so, and you can book your future cruise!
@Dr H, just my opinion, but I wouldn’t wait to book this cruise. It’s a great (new) itinerary, and I’ll bet it will sell fast. Besides, I would love to meet you! 😉
Just booked a new cruise through my TA, and although it is still not showing up on my account (when I look), Azamara verified to him that I am now Discoverer. So yay for that at least 😊
I am not seeing included air for a similar 2025 Viking cruise. It’s a little more expensive, but true that their prices include basic excursions and specialties. Ending in Montreal would be super convenient for us though!
