  1. Too bad! It gives me an idea of when to book the specialties.
  2. Then one of the packages that includes the WiFi may be your best bet, especially for a long cruise.
  3. Bear in mind that it’s possible that you may not both need an internet package, depending on your usage, as long as you don’t need to use it at the same time. I don’t know the cost of a Bailey’s, but it’s probably pretty reasonable.
  4. Depending on the ship you are on, the main dining room (Discoveries) menu may be available for the entire cruise on your tv. I know it is on the Quest
  5. Thanks. Looks good! I’ve never had that particular Chef’s Table.
  6. There has been lots of chatter in the past on this very personal topic. My own preference is to take what’s left of my (refundable) TA OBC and donate it to the crew welfare fund, thereby spreading the wealth around to all of the crew who work so hard (not just the ones you see)
  7. Go to Guest Services and they will help you with this
  8. I’d like to think that tipping the hostess had nothing to do with it. Not really keeping with the Azamara ethos.
  9. I am not in a wheelchair, but on one of my Azamara cruises (I think it was Alaska) there was a passenger who was a quadriplegic, traveling with his wife, who had a portable hoyer lift to get him in and out of his wheelchair. I recall seeing them on a few excursions, where buses had the capability to raise and lower the wheelchair. And obviously, the excursions must have been wheelchair friendly. So it certainly can be done depending on where you are going.
  10. Jim Beam bourbon too and some kind of rum
  11. Is that under our control? How could this change be made? Of course not all cruises have a lot of sea days.
  12. I’m a little shocked that they allowed bare chests in Windows and bare feet in the Cabaret Lounge.
  13. Go to Windows and make specialty restaurants reservations, attend the Meet and Mingle party, have a late lunch, walk around the ship check out all of the venues, have a drink on the pool deck at sail away!
  14. From the website: ATTIRE & PACKING TIPS In keeping with our friendly yet sophisticated onboard environment, we encourage guests to follow a “resort casual” dress code. Out of respect for others, bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps, bathing suits, shorts, and torn/distressed jeans are not allowed in the dining room or specialty restaurants. When dining at Windows Café, guests must wear footwear and a cover-up or shirt. Formal evening wear is not expected nor required in our restaurants. If you prefer to dress more formally, you are welcome to do so. Please note that tuxedo rentals are not available onboard.
  15. Since no one can board earlier than about 2:30, I believe, 3:30 is really not all that late. Just go right to the reservation desk at Windows as soon as you can
  16. Where on earth are you getting that idea?
  17. @Keeria, see you onboard in Athens in October!
  18. Hoping for decent internet for my March transatlantic!
  19. Yes! We used miles for our (coach) flights for our Rio/Lisbon cruise and it took a lot
  20. We are booked on Pursuit Rio to Lisbon in March. First time on Pursuit and looking forward to meeting @Grandma Cruisingand @oddjob16!! Also booked on Journey Athens to Dubai in October ‘23. First time on Journey too. Like others, starting to reconsider the long haul flights, especially as we always fly coach, saving our money for the cruise 🙂
  21. I guess it begs the question - do they not audition their entertainers in some way?
  22. In the times that I have sailed since there has been a Den, it is sometimes difficult to even find a seat in there in the evening. The casino was usually a ghost town
  23. I didn’t find anything beyond the end of February 2023
