  1. Have not seen any in sheltered balcony deck 5 and 6 or inside on 10
  2. There is not much to post. All I have spotted so far is new carpets in the corridors. There is no new exit to deck 8 . Couldn’t see any difference to the corridors on deck 8 except new carpets. Hopefully will be able to see if any new outside furniture tomorrow
  3. Yes that is the reason. We need to be safely docked before Sunday morning. Very wet in Bruges today but no wind.
  4. It’s a three night cruise.
  5. Yes it is lovely to see
  6. I never noticed any of the steamer seats were ready for a bonfire nor did recall the seats on deck 8 being a disgrace. Considering the battering they take with the weather I think they are fine. I obviously have low standards because I honestly am not bothered by the state of the outdoor furniture. I spend a lot of time outside too.In spite of having my own balcony I enjoy people watching on the decks.
  7. No room it was just on the way to tender it might have been at the entrance to the theatre where we had to wait. I don’t remember but if you wanted a ticket for the tender you had to do it. I think it was a mat and there was another one by the tender. The steps were quite steep I remember down to the tender platform.
  8. I take a taxi from Town Quay a bit further away and it’s under£10. Not sure if you know West Quay has put up the parking and is now £6 a day.
  9. Cunard did the same in May. Everyone wishing to use tender had to take test no one was being singled out.
  10. I was told this had come in from September I read it on here. I could use it at beginning of September and am onboard on 16th of this month so will report back
  11. Not seen any offers here in U K advertised.
  12. Your safest bet is to buy an internet package then even on sea-days or evenings you will be contactable 24/7.
  13. Yes I was hoping for two lots but I suppose post the shut down they have tightened up. Internet access is important to me so I just factor it in as an additional necessary expense as with the gratuities. Now you can’t use Shareholder OBC for gratuities I will just use that element of OBC towards internet.
  14. I did a Southampton New York Southampton but it was classed as a 14 night voyage as one booking with one booking number so only received one allocation of WC internet. If you just have one booking number and have booked a 26 night cruise regardless of the segments possibilities in between you will only get one allocation. If you had separate booking numbers for each segment then you would get allowances for each booking.
  15. On a P & O social media page they confirmed they are addressing the behaviour with the guests concerned and have checked in on the welfare of Gareth.
  16. Ocean views have a large sofa at least mine on QV and QE did .
  17. Worst experience of this was on disembarkation day a woman was challenged by crew and other guests for doing this. Her response was her daughter had was ill and had been for all of the cruise and it was the cruise lines fault ! and she WAS going to fill her water bottles up regardless. I quickly decided I no longer wanted a drink and went elsewhere as she proceeded to carry on arguing and filling her two used plastic water bottles. Selfish or what?
  18. I don’t think they do if it’s a standard inside they have just one small chair and a chair at the desk. I have never had one . There would not be enough room.
  19. Oh I forgot that. I don’t ever book Grills so wouldn’t have really thought about it. I can’t see any difference either in the QA prices away from the normal formula. Mine certainly isn’t for July 2024.I don’t think these extra discounts apply to U K sailings sadly.
  20. Solo traveller prices are always available on every voyage. Do they mean there are extra discounts available on certain voyages ? Currently Cunard is 175% for single occupancy unlike Princess which is 200%. Current 2024 booking for Queen Anne is the standard 175%.
  21. I an not sure. They are way over my budget so would never consider them. and I prefer to travel Cunard. I think their overall price would put off the other solo cruisers I know.
  22. Yes that’s why I was in no rush to book anything for 2025. Surprising . P &O ‘s Britannia and Iona have single balcony cabins. They are a bit small and to be honest would probably not have one again if I were to go on P&O again.
