New glasses will not be here before we leave, so I will not get them for 3 weeks. Both shoulders still very sore from Tues jabs and my head and nausea still requires a cold, wet towel, ugh. I have negotiated on paid upgrade offers; sometimes successful, others not, but I always ask for a lower 0rice. Don't be insulting with a low-ball offer, do be considerate and ask for a Superior or Pricing Specialist if the first answer is no. The more full the ship, the less likely they are to come down on price. If upgrade offers go out, your TA will receive the offer; it's their responsibility to get it to you.

How do we know if we're 12N/S or 25? Boarding pass only gives the time.

@superoma I used my library fairly regularly until Covid shut it down; it's now reopened, but I haven't been there. I used it a lot for work when meeting new hires and as a cooling station when our a/C was out. Also for work when our power was out.

All 3 of the days are worthy of having their own day, body image is a struggle for many. The quote is true, but also a struggle for many. The meal, drink and wine all sound good; not been to Latvia and likely will never go. You send your friend a link. When they click that link and fill out the form, on HAL side it links you & your friend together, so when they book, it recognizes that it originated with you.

It has not been easy. Today, it confirmed my number, said it found multiple bookings tied to my number and asked me to confirm my name. After a few attempts, it finally said it could not find my name and asked for the booking number (why didn'tit just for bookingnumber up front?). It found my booking number then it asked for my name again. I thought "oh geez, here we go again." But it then miraculously found me. My name had not changed. I'm sure they'll work the kinks out🙄

Just shows that sometimes the Universe is smarter than we are... Or maybe even the Universe cast a vote on the functionality of the HAL website...

Yep, there are times that HAL just does not make it easy to give them $$. If you know what you want, you can call the Sore Exc number and they can book for you.

You won't see CO mentioned anywhere in the cruise stuff unless you added it, then there is a one line entry for it on the invoice. You can call HAL to see if it's available for your booking (it's capacity controlled). If it is available, they can add it for you.

Probably not as much, but any to waste or leave on the table is too much, IMO. Last month's B2B on Carnival I had $200 at the end of the first week, which, of course, couldn't be used the 2nd week. So on the last night of wk 1 to close out my account, I got a $200 gift card. Then the next day after the 2nd week started, I put that gift card on my account so I had $200 OBC to use.😊 On HAL, I could not have done that.

You can do it, but amthe updated invoice, which you want to verify the OBC, will go to your TA who will need to send it to you.

@Ferry_Watcher @Dobby36 various ships I've asked for the xl robes (they go up to 3x, I think) cabin steward says they get them from the spa and in May on Eurodam when I went to spa for Thermalpass, they said they had something for me and came back with a larger robe! Cabin steward had asked for one, they said, but they didn't have a clean one at the time he asked, so they set one aside for me after laundry.😊 So may be worth asking at the spa and ask them to hold one for you if they're all dirty. I understand they are very limited quantity.

Thanks for doing this review. We have toyed with the idea of doing the 1 night Sea->VCR cruise as an alternative to flying into VCR. The itineraries from VCR are sometimes better than from Sea and cruise fares are crazy cheap, but international flights are outrageous vs SeaTac. Would you consider this a viable option to avoid international flights?

We laughed on our first HAL cruise when we saw those elevator rugs. I love the Day of the Week rugs and find I miss them on other cruise lines.
